Because they are called Goddesses doesn't mean they are good or bad. Escanor is OP but once you find out his power and story it's a tragic one which you might find out in the latest season. Escanor loves Merlin probably cause he wants to smash without saying anything. Ban is human, who the fuck would say immortal is a race. You will learn and see more stuff about Goddesses in the latest season cause it looks like its based on them. Damn the Master Predictor is getting close with the predictions on Elizabeth but not quite. This show has predictable moments but a lot is not since they tend to throw bomb shells.

The revelation of what Zeldris' Piety commandment does raises a small plothole that's bothered me ever since i read the manga. Meliodas very obviously turned his back and ran away from Zeldris just before Grayroad pulled him back when the Ten Commandments attacked him during the tournament. And for some convenient reason, he wasn't enslaved by the Piety Commandment. It doesn't really change much in the long run since the outcome would have been the same regardless, it's just always bothered me lol. And before anyone says "Commandments are immune to the curses" no, Commandment HOLDERS are immune to the effects of Commandments. Meliodas doesn’t have his Commandment at the moment so he should still be susceptible to Piety. If that were true, Estarossa shouldn’t have been able to stop the Revenge Counter. The DK even says in Putgatory that he was struck by the effects of Love and Piety so he was 100% able to be affected by them. I suspect it was just a case of Nakaba not knowing what the Piety Commandment did yet and writing himself into a corner. As I said, it’s not a huge deal, it’s just a small plot hole.

Estarossas full counter is purely for physical attacks whereas Meliodas' full counter is for magic attacks

Estrarossa's commandment doesn't work on Escanor not because he doesn't fear him, but because he bears no hate towards him. That's why Melioda's revenge counter failed in the previous battle.

watching this show through a second time i am picking up on "hints" that I didnt notice the first run through. that being said if you miss a 2 second hint in season 1 you probably gon be confused AF season 3 lol thats just how the show is i guess
