I originally watched this subbed, and having seen it now dubbed... the ending may have still been cheesy, but voice acting aside, it's the subtle changes in lines that make it worst. And they stand out when you've already seen it once... it's not as bad as Attack on Titan though... that's got to be one of the worst dubs I've seen, line changes and all. FullMetal Alchemist and Hero Academia are two of the best dubs I've personally watched, along with Cowboy Bebop, so I'm not against them entirely or anything. Sometimes I think they Americanize the lines, and sometimes the changes don't make any sense at all and the characters seem dumber for it... that's what I took from this episode.

Trust me once yall get done with the OVA eps and get to s2 your opinions will change for this show, the stakes really do get higher and i feel like this is where the story ACTUALLY starts

If you want to experience this series as is meant to be you need to watch it in sub. Dub is not that great here, for example jokes are much funnier in sub..

You guys should watch the “season 2” with the 4 eps by yourself cuz it’s mostly filler but it does have good canon info in it but that’s just my idea
