Midoriya's passion to help others spreads to the rest of his classmates by making them always look out for eachother (like in this episode, Momo was loooking out for Jiro, Asui and Shoji, then those 3 did the same for Momo) Bakugo's passion to always win spreads to the rest of his classmates making them strive for the top instead of just half-assing it. The sports festival is the best example of this. It's like Aizawa said, they're not leaders or the most popular and they almost opposites but they raise the standard for the whole class. For example, after their 1st fight, everyone wanted to give it their all like how Bakugo and Midoriya did.
