Heck yes! What a series. And you guys were talking about the DC continuity at the end - I *think* I can explain what they've currently got planned 😂👋 So right now and in the future, they have two "cinematic universes" in mind: 1. This one, built off of "The Batman" and centered on creator Matt Reeves' idea of a dark, grounded story that's kind of its own thing, and will probably remain centered around Batman and Gotham. "The Batman" is currently planned to be a trilogy of movies, with character-focused series like "The Penguin" also taking place within it to explore that world even further and flesh it out even more. 2. Next up is the "DC Universe", which is the big one. It's planned to be a new era of DC storytelling across movies and series led by James Gunn (most famous for making "Guardians of the Galaxy" for Marvel and "The Suicide Squad (2021)" for DC). They've been writing a wide-reaching, connected story and getting a lot of talented people involved in it, so this really could be big if it all lines up! The first movie in this series will be "Superman", and it releases next July - written and directed by James Gunn himself, so we know it's gonna be good and probably make people cry 😂 Batman will also be in this universe, but we can assume he'll be a little older and more experienced than the one we have in "The Batman", because he'll also be joined by his son Damian. That's all we know about him at the moment - but I think it'll be pretty cool to have two Batmans running around in their own stories, with two distinct takes!
