*SPOILERS BELOW FOR PATREONS IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE FINALE* Final episode coming tomorrow? Can't say for sure since we haven't seen your last reaction, but I think the biggest plot point you guys weren't picking up on... everything they showed happening in the facility with the kids, was in the past. That's what I believe, having not read the manga. Seems like you may have started picking up on it though. I think Maru is one of Tokio's kids... she had twins, and he's looking for his twin in heaven. At the end of this episode, the girl (Minihime) looking up at the sky... considering how focused she was on it. Her and the guy with silver hair are Usami and his patient (Minihime), which is why she wanted to see the sky one last time. You see in the finale she gives him that button Usami had. And the music they play in the finale during their moment is the same OST from when Usami was reading her final thoughts on that tablet. Only two times it's used in the season, a nice touch. The man-eater in the basement that made Kiruko hallucinate? I think that's the little girl in the facility that made people hallucinate when her sunglasses were removed... and made Minihime see all those needles and blades and basically her future. The disease the kids in the facility started getting is the same disease mentioned outside the facility in the future, that turns people in to man-eaters. Based on the flashbacks Kiruko has in the finale of his sister and Robin talking about him while he was supposedly sleep, I think Robin was having relations with his sister, and then took advantage of Kiruko because he was in his sister's body. It's sick no matter how you look at it. Beyond that, I can't really theorize on much else, but once you consider the option of the things happening in the facility as part of the past, a lot of stuff starts to connect. But there's still a million questions. I still don't understand Asura (girl with alien features that hang herself in the facility), nor Robin's actual motive, nor how we got to the present, and what actually caused the whole calamity. And where'd they get the boat in the post credit scene? Hopefully manga readers don't spoil it all in the comments though, there's hope for another season. I think this was a very unique method of storytelling, and pretty enjoyable. Once you get one piece of the puzzle, you find others that fit, but still have no idea how the full puzzle is supposed to look yet. Hopefully they keep it going. Loved the animation, OST, and world building. Our main characters are pretty likable as well.

I will add that yeah basically all the man eaters from ep 1 that Maru and Kiruko ran into are the kids from the facility (eg that fish was that girl who could climb walls) also that doctor in the facility with the twins is the same doctor with robin and haruki’s whole story.. but yeah in general a lot of things to connect once you know that the facility is the past and the apocalypse is the present..PLEASE PLEASE make another video with your thoughts on it or like a review, would love to watch one from you guys🙏
