New short to match recent photo 🖤 (Patreon)

I'm going to talk about the process it was to make this video. i don't know if you're interested or not but incase some of you are here it is what i do. 

first i start of filming in front of my green screen. i export the video to after effects.

i then need to track my glasses so i can add that binary text to it. 

i use mocha AE to track the glasses and it gives an accurate tracking rather than using the inbuilt tracker. 

once tracked i then mask out the binary text and track it to the glasses

i then key out the green screen and added a blue screen background because i had planned to export it to make the rendering quicker for the next part. 

Why did i key out the green screen then add a blue screen you may ask. that is because the binary text is green if i keyed out the green screen it would also take out the binary text.

I export the blue screen me into a new file. 

i then key out the blue screen i then needed the backdrop. so i added a solid colour but its not giving the vibe i need, so i added a gradient on top of the solid colour so its got a fade where its darker at the bottom fading to the solid colour i had placed down.

i also needed a light source so i added one with light rays in the top right corner i made it subtle and i didn't want it too drastic.

for the wires. i used the shape tool and made some lines but they didn't look very good so to make them look more like a wire and less like black lines i added an emboss effect to them. i then needed them to not be static so i keyed in some slight movements.

once that was all done it all came down to colour grading and adding lights and shadows and to top it all off i also like to add bit of noise to it. don't know why but i feel it kind of ties things all together. 

I then export that. took 8 hours to render and export. i then open a new file add the recent exported file and that is when i do the camera movements.

I know this was a long read. but sometimes i feel like my videos look so simple people don't realise the time and effort i put into them XD
