Honestly, its a disappointing episode because its a forced error to create dramatic tension, because actually communicating in the correct sequence would be too simple even though the misunderstanding was being telegraphed loudly.

Thanks for the heads up. I am fairly sure everyone thought it was going to go that way. I think I will save this one till the next episode so the following episode can be a cleanser for my brain. ;-)

Not a problem. Of course everyone saw it coming because the author was telegraphing his intentions to be a moron. So much opportunity for character growth was wasted.

Yup, you and I are on the same page, I said after last week's episodehat I was a little insulted by the author's cheap trick here. But, I'm still a sucker for a happy ending, so I did enjoy watching him apologize for his oversight. And unlike certain other smirktastic series we're all watching, the music in this series is right on point every scene.

Yeah - the music for Throne is strangely good for a Chinese series. Dongua's seem to have some strange unwritten rule that the theme songs must be awful. There are exceptions like Throne, and Perfect World. But Against the Smirk Supreme and Martial Master are awful music-wise.

Actually like the theme song for Martial Master. So do quite a few other people. Throne of seal is just rock/metal music anyways - good but fairly generic - you can find dozens of similar tracks. Smirk Supreme music is below average.

I was referring to the insert song at the end, which is also the closing theme for this episode, it just felt like that song was so perfect for that moment when he pulled her in... perfect world, Soul Land and Swallowed star are also very good with their music, as is legend of qin
