I wonder if the character designer was hungry when coming up with the elder's hats as they resemble a won ton. They would also be lousy in the rain. I guess technically it could be considered a cocked hat like the tricorne. I'll call it the water retaining won-ton hat.

The tiger and the ferret looking thing is from Martial Universe, Gon has subbed it on here and i VERY highly recommend it, easily on par with BTTH if not better

Now that I think about it, their plots are EXTREMELY similar. Man fated to not amount to much finds a being with profound strength to help him achieve greatness not knowing their true intensions. The being develops a soft spot for the hero and helps him through his path to become the strongest. Along the way he befriends an animal that grows in strength to assist him in battle. Oh, he also has a sister with mysterious strength who loves her big brother.
