Why is everyone in these Wuxia worlds so psychotic? The girl was seen *once* in the water and now she "can't rest until she kills" the MC? That's insane. I'm pretty certain this kind of society would burn itself down in a couple years as everyone murdered each other over the tiniest of arguments. Oh also great school, letting your students arbitrarily kill each other over minor grievances. I'm sure that lets the best students thrive /s

The vengeful maiden thing is not just limited to Wuxia, it's found in a lot of Japanese Light Novels/Manga/Anime as well. The Vengeful Maiden, Tsunderes, and the nosebleed from sexual stimulation are among my personal most hated because they are over used ad nauseum.
