On it's 85th Anniversary, we listen to "War Of The Worlds" (1938) for the very first time. 85 years ago, a man named Orson Welles had devised a plan to broadcast a radio drama version of H.G. Wells book "The War Of The Worlds". This drama was set to cause panic and terror as it broadcast live on CBS on October 30, 1938.
This is the first of it's kind in radio drama reactions, as it seems no one else has done one. People have done radio drama reviews or videos about the dramas that include snippets of audio, but nothing to this extent.
I have accompanied the drama with imagery that I felt was appropriate, however if you would like to see my uncut reaction from both cameras, with no extra imagery, you can see that over on the Patreon.
I implore you, please listen to the original. It's well worth it.
I hope you enjoy! I think you'll love the credits style to this one.
This took a lot of work, over a month putting together, so I look forward to hearing what you think.
*To note: It may have been okay without doing this, but in case of copyright, I have cut up the video as I would do with my normal reactions. This covers the future, in case there are more severe copyright restrictions in place.
