Although Episode 8's YT version isn't out yet, I wanted to get ahead and give you the Uncut reaction for Episode 9 "Look For The Light". I was so excited watching these two and I realise now just how accurate I was at the end of Episode 8 about thoughts on the finale.
What are your thoughts on it? Did it go as you expected and feel like a finale to you? It was brilliant, but did feel like the penultimate episode for the most part. Although they nailed the ending scene, as it's identical to the game. However... the car park scene.... WHAT?! I don't remember anything like that, it felt weird and completely against Joel's character. Funnily enough, it feels like they're twisting Joel to be more of a bad person. Yes, he has done bad things, but mostly for a reason, to get Ellie to the hospital.
P.S. I love that Ashley Johnson plays Ellie's Mum!! Bella actually looks similar to Ashley too.
