I think the separation of like, parts of the body that are actively controlled by the owner, and parts that are mindlessly doing their job 24/7 regardless of what it's handling is a pretty kinky thing. The mouth / vagina / anus  vs the stomach and intestines. They all mostly look the same, but there's only someone behind the wheel of the first group. And getting in a car with no driver is certainly a thrill, in way!

I was feeling a little better yesterday, and did some work. Wanted to try the process out on an internal like this, and my first attempt went pretty poorly. I decided i'd only spent an hour so far, though, so decided to try again from the start of the coloring phase and with a little more erasing on the sketch was able to do the blur border selection method here. I think it turned out alright!

I did  end up using blend layers for the colors. the first attempt jonah ended up way more yellow than i intended, using the phone's light, but blend layers work fine in this setup too. you just have to mask them the same way.

Also tried adding more, and subtler veins than usual, i think it works well for this organ at least.

I'm sicker today than i was yesterday though. First day just lungs / coughy. second day fever and coughing. third day feeling mostly better, and today my nose is running a lot, but other than that i'm fine. SO hopefully in a couple days it'll be all sorted out.
