Tier Update (Nothing changes for existing patrons) (Patreon)

Hey! Just a business update.

I've decided to simplify the naming convention of my tiers, because Basic, Influential, Big and Super Supporter were all tough to keep straight, and a mouthful. So, they've all been simplified to 

☆, ☆☆, ☆☆☆ and ☆☆☆☆

I will find time soon to make fancy images for the tiers, since i've never had that.

Furthermore, after a lot of thought, i'm sunsetting the $1 tier. 

IF YOU ARE IN THE $1 TIER, nothing changes for you. You can stay there and get what you were getting, for the same price. You can stay there until you decide to leave my Patreon, and if you try to rejoin, the $1 tier will be unavailable to choose from.

For years, patreon has made it clear that with their fee structure, they don't want you offering a $1 tier. It's been a while since i did the math, but last i recall a $1 pledge gets me like 60 cents, and it's a considerably worse margin than even a $2 pledge. When making new tiers, patreon puts up a huge yellow warning for making a tier under $3, recommending against it, and linking you to an article they made insisting $3 is the  right choice.

Many of you are in the $1 tier and i don't want to offend you; your support is very important to me, and i'm very glad you're here, enjoying my work! So if you're there, you're welcome to stay at that rate. But for future patrons, the minimum will be $3.
