I can't tell ya exactly why, but I REALLY liked this episode, especially with so damn much worldbuilding, drama, wives, and the war before. The very clever shite that was written into this series is mega satisfying, and this episode played with the "isekais need slavery!!!" troupe in such a fun, optimistic way. Souma throwing down "reforms" and whatnot, just to squeeze tf outta slavery in their nation, just makes me smile. I get slavery in medieval type animes. I don't approve of the particular, but a lack of tech generally means someone is getting oppressed. I believe in ANY world, it would happen at some point. At least in Realist Hero, our chick magnet MC is damn sure gonna do something about it. Also, the slave merchant and his new ex-slave girlfriend are just adorable.
