Fun Fact: The author wants this entire story to take place over the course of a single summer, so everything that happens from the start to the end takes place within 4 months of each other.

Seemingly everyone being interested in Bell for no apparent reason isn't entirely true. He is nice on the eyes compared to most male characters you'd see around town or in the dungeon. The hair and eyes aren't just a anime character thing. Freya kind of gives away that there is "something" about Bell that even a goddess would be drawn to. That, plus his go-getter though inexperienced personality make him a easy target for the women around him.

Man, ya'll watching these first two episodes make me flash through all of the madness of the novels. It makes it really clear that my favorite animes/light novels/mangas are the stories that once you get further in, you se the first arc/volume/season is a TOTALLY different light. So much ya'll are laughing at has immense repercussions, and that makes it feel really great to have the context of these characters and events and motivations. I admit, I forget how "ecchi" the beginning feels. When I think back on the times I watched DanMachi, I remember the epic af battles, the wild drama, the horrendous acts, and the massive forces at work. Damn glad this won!
