I really want Tower of God to win someday, but I’ll probably have to wait until all the others on the list are done or they pick it themselves. It’s my favorite WEBTOON ever and my profile picture is from it. I can’t wait for season 2 next year.

Will reiterate, watch ONLY season 1 of Misfit or you will seriously lose faith in the voting process going forward. It's that serious. Season 1 can practically be considered a standalone story with how nicely it ends.

Man, my taste in anime just seems to be so far off of what gets voted on it's wild.... I've tried watching some of these shows that get voted on the most and just could not stick with them.

I wouldn't mind that personally, (them not trusting the votes) since I've already lost faith in this voting process. I rarely see a show I want to get reacted to even make it into the top 10.

This is me being petty, but I do not consider that anime and would happily take it being voted out. I watched it with friends and it surprised me but I'd be bothered it being considered over actual anime

Well I think you may be out of luck because they already said they'll have to be more choosey with what they watch, which imo that means more mainstream stuff, and what definitely gets the votes from the majority of paying members. You don't say it, but I think majority vote is still the way to go even if minority stuff is overlooked. Having them distrust the vote to possibly benefit that minority doesn't make sense.

I honestly agree. They do leave a few things unanswered by the end of season 1 but its all VERY minor things that you could practically ignore. Season 2 almost seems like they just wanted the show to continue for the sake of it continuing and not much else.

no way, an isekai not winning is insane. honestly glad to see it since the only anime that hasnt been an isekai that they've reacted to recently is classroom of the elite, and I guess jjk, but it could technically be argued that jjk has a lot of isekai aspects.

By that sense any anime that has a power system of fantasy element has "isekai aspects" which I don't agree. You are right though that most recent voted animes were isekai.

I moreso mean that Yuji is living a normal life when suddenly he gets taken to jujutsu tech which acts practically like another world with the things they deal with. like the rules and how stuff works is all different similar to how it would be in another world.
