A week of war has passed and we are still here watching the news about this horrible piece of history developing under our eyes. I know there's always a war in every corner of our planet in each day of a year, but to the eyes an European citizen this is very unusual and pretty frightening.
I know this post can't do anything to cease the fightings, but everyone can do something on is own with what everyone can do better. But besides this, everybody can do something, like donating to no profit organization, you will have yours in your countries for sure, or you can do it with the International Red Cross. Another thing you can do is not to blame Russian people for what their leader is doing. Russian people are a great people but are subjugated to Putin, they are mostly unaware of what their army is doing in Ukraine. All the media are controlled by the government and there's only a couple of newspapers that keep telling what is happening in Ukraine. Even peace rallies are suppressed by police and protesters are arrested only because of being there and showing their dissent.
So, make sure not to do the big mistake of generalize and make the equation Putin = Russia when you write or say something about this crisis.
