Furiosa! (Patreon)

Last Sunday I went to watch Furiosa! Two days before i didn't even know it was available, it didn't have the same promotional campaign of Fury Road!
At first, some years ago, when it was announced i was skeptical about it because it seemed to me a way to make easy cash with the franchise; I also loved Charlize Theron as Furiosa and i wasn't sure Anya Taylor-Joy would be good for the same role. For your info I love both actresses, but i had some doubts about this choice.
When I knew Furiosa was out, i decided to go and watch it because all my doubts were swiped away by the urge of seeing new stunts, new action sequences and fights on cars and trucks in the desert, all that diesel punk and fire, flames, sand and desolation. All those things that make Mad Max saga so inspirational for a lot of fictional works from its first release and that make me go crazy! Fuck my doubts!
I had all this and it was so entertaining and fun. The story is ok, it answers the questions about Furiosa's backstory you had when you saw her for the first time in Fury Road and it's quite satisfying: nothing you're going to remember for ever but it does its job, it works fine. Of course the surprise of Fury Road is missing, but you will have more of the same in this movie, and this is absolutely cool and what i think you can expect by a movie like Furiosa!
