Gosh I have such a big backlog of stuff to share haha! This one is for an upcoming art trade with the super talented Sphinxmothra, featuring their vampire characters Amdis and Myrshka, who I am looking forward to learning more about. Here's one of Sphinxmothra's 2D designs for them so you can compare it with my 3D translation.

I'm still wrapping my head around hair and fluff particles/making convincing cloth so I tried to give that another go to make the textures pop more (ironically the actual hair here is just mesh-based lol, since I felt using hair particles would look uncanny in this case). Really happy with how these two turned out, it was super fun tackling something with a more stylized stop-mo look to it.

Hope you lovely peeps enjoy!

YES. HELL YES Wow. They turned out so fantastic!! You did her designs justice and there is so much to love. The stylized hair is aaamazing. Though tedious, sculpting the hair was defo the way to go. It works so well considering all the shapes in the original design. And the attention to detail with the clothing! Defo gives it that stop-mo feel. And the expressions are perfect and again fit her art style well. Really fan girling over this. Superb work Lupucs!

Wow so cool!! Really neat to see you tackle a different style ^^ Both of your styles fuse real well to make a new Tim Burton-y look! Awesome job!! Excited to see the rest of the backlog as well :)

Thank you so much Padrian, super happy to hear it!! Glad you dig the hair, placing those curves was very time consuming so I'm glad it paid off!! I heavily referenced Sphinxmothra's art for the expressions since I wanted to get their dynamic right. Super looking forward to your interpretation of them!! 👌✨

Thanks a bunch Joke!! Very happy to hear it 😄 translating Sphinxmothra's style into my own was a neat challenge plus it was super refreshing tackling human-like characters with a more shaped stop mo look. Glad you're looking forward to the rest of the backlog, more coming soon for sure!
