Ciao Ragazzi!

I'm sorry but I went a little further with Alita without showing you the intermediate stages of Alita's WIP...

I've gotten this far so far, and I have to admit that the pose has caused me quite a few problems. I wanted it to be as dynamic as possible, but I had to find a trick to make it stand upright.

So I thought of a hybrid between the film version and the manga version, with some parts of the armor and the Damascus sword taken from the paper version. The sword itself helps me keep it standing. What do you think?

The sword looks like it there as a support, which it obviously is, but it looks out of place in my opinion. There are LOTS of images of dynamic roller derby girls with both feet touching the ground. At least the full front blade on the ground and the front wheel of the back blade. The increased angle would also give a sense of speed.

Thanks for the tips SHING! Obviously you're right, the sword is there mainly due to stability problems, in fact with that pose it was impossible to make it stand upright. Obviously I will affect the concrete of the base to give the sense that she is sticking it into the ground to change the trajectory. I don't know if I'll still be able to give that feeling... 🗡😅I chose that pose precisely because it reminds me of the dynamism of manga, placing both feet on the ground would, in my opinion, have undermined this movement. However, I will try to tilt the body downwards more to sharpen the sense of speed, perhaps by tilting the sword more. I don't know what will come out but I'm curious... Thanks again for your ideas!
