If I'm going to like, ACTUALLY include a balls to the wall serial killer slasher fanatic in SLASHER U (and I am, because, like, it's fuckin Slasher U), he better be PRETTY GOD DAMN SPECIAL. And, imo, Sawyer makes the cut.

A grad student - so already a mite more mature than the others - Sawyer did his undergrad in Summer Camp Slashery and is smack dab in the middle of law school. He's got beef with Horsemike, he's sweet, polite, and can turn the murdersona on on a DIME (with your permission, of course). Sawyer's not only a fun and treasuredly safe way to roleplay your favorite nightmarish stalker slasher fantasy of your dreams, but he's got a robust safeword & roleplaying (both gameplay-wise and narratively, like, within the narrative of your player character and Sawyer's sexytime adventures) system with tons of consent checks, outs, and lots and lots of switch-on aftercare. He's the kind of guy who lifts up the murdertime hockey mask if you look uncomfortable in those shackles and asks if you need some warm water or anything like that - okay okay I'm putting the mask back on!

Like with any good BDSM relationship, Sawyer's romance/sexytime arc lets you as the receiver set the pace and intensity 100% of the time, and I made carefully sure to build in RP-friendly (lore-friendly, technically, but the wrapping narrative around this horny slasher themed university is getting oniony) consent checks at every turn, so you can grab the brakes on what is (if you turn the dial) the subbiest narrative of your LIFE. Something I like to pair with that is a hyperromantic, sappy, traditionally gesture-y romance arc, so Sawyer's personality leans hard into the "buys you flowers" and "takes you to a nice dinner to hear you talk about your feelings" side.

Yes, Slasher U is a game where you arbitrarily choose your weird horror movie sexy dream hunk/babe, why do you ask??

I was always super bummed at having to cut Sawyer's romance arc for time for Act 1, and I'm REALLY hoping to include him in Act 1 before patchin' on to the other 2 Acts/finishing the rest of the game. Man, episodic game releases slap, amirite??
