Super Secret Concept Art - Time Travel Academy/History High (Patreon)

So I've been messing with the idea of a Clone High meets Ever After High super-goofy totally-2000's MG graphic novel series, which I'm either calling Time Travel Academy or History High as relatively dumb temporary titles (dumb or great, who knows??) Various descendents of famous historical figures attend high school together in an alternate-universe time-travel-vibes-y way, wherein the fictional daughter of Naopleon, wearing her dad's signature coat and still stuck in the 19th century, runs for class president against the equally formidable direct descendent of Ching Shih, who operates a literal pirate empire of smuggled-into-school goods.

Tadhana Lapu (descendent of Lapulapu), Henry XVI (descendent of Henry VIII), Virginia Appleseed (descendent of Johnny Appleseed), and Mughan Musa (descendent of Mansa Musa) all end up in a study group together against their will for Ancient History class, and everyone is kind of rooting against them to fail. Tadhana’s a hothead and, though she’s frequently right, teenagers are dumbasses and they just think she’s annoying; Henry is, well, Henry, and he’s got a LOT to work on (probably the only guy in class who has to NOT live up to his dad); Virginia’s “quirky” if “quirky” means “completely balls to the wall off her rocker and wears her dad’s steel pot on her head literally everywhere she goes”; and Mughan - well, everyone likes Mughan, they’re pretty generous and throw great parties, but they’re gonna get dragged down by the other guys, just watch.

• Bit of a jocky idiot
• Fails upwards / shittiest member of the jousting team

Virginia Appleseed (originally Christina)

• Descendent of Johnny Appleseed
• Completely, hog wild bonkers (takes after her dad)
• Friend to children, hater of adults
• Impulsive and not exactly entirely living in the same reality as everyone else / Maddie from Ever After High vibes

Edwina Teach

• Descendent of Blackbeard
• Theatrics and lambasting! / head of the Theatre Club
• Bark way worse than bite
• Thinks the race to Class Prez is dumb af
