While I was visiting my parents last winter, I had a seven (seven!) hour layover at London Heathrow - so I obviously ducked out and had a nice stroll along the South Bank at sunrise, followed by a morning at the National Portrait Gallery. Here are the sketches I managed to squeeze in before I had to leave again!
