Jun was a child actor in China, but not an idol. The singing shows he was in in China were as a member of Seventeen, and The8 was also there. His new drama is a Chinese drama!

Hoshi has a bright personality! But he is considered a very strict leader when it comes to dancing. You can see a lot of videos of members complaining about him. It is strange & funny. He is what I call a true idol (not that others are not), he is very kpop world savvy and knows/understands the world. He may appear innocent & child-like (which he is to some extent) but he also can easily recognise market patterns and direction the team should go to maintain relevance & popularity. It is why he makes a good P.Unit leader.

You really need to see their performances! All concert livestreams are on SVTFLIX and a lot more, I can tell you the timestamp for the performance team. You‘ll only find fancams on YouTube for these.

when the members was asked who was scary during their trainee days they actually answered 3 people, Scoups , Hoshi and Woozi (the now 3 leaders) haha! . Scoups - during pre-debut Hoshi and Woozi already always seek for his advice on what to do for their practices. Hoshi and Woozi are actually known within the fandom as the 2 captains , during their trainee days these two taught the members and trainees choreos and dancing, yes Woozi was actually also on the line up as Performance Team but he was given a choice to choose between Vocal Team or Performance Team. If you actually search 17TV ,which is their pre-debut content , you would often see the 2 captains leading all their dance practices. Now Hoshi. Hoshi - all members (including trainees) with the exception of The8 I think because he joined late had gone through Hoshi as their teacher for the basics in dancing, he taught them that. He is known as a strict teacher , he is very detailed actually especially if it's angles and stuff .That is why he was actually chosen as the Performance Leader. Also Hoshi is hardcore , he really dislikes slacking off,, the members had mentioned this but Hoshi gives 110% in all performances even if it's just a dance challenge. if anyone wants the source of the members mentioning how they learned the basic of dancing from Hoshi let me know, there's a Hoshi fan account that created a thread for that but actually if you watch 17tv you would see it.

something interesting about seventeen during predebut was that it was either all of them are debuting or none of them at all. their company wasn’t huge back then and seventeen was unique in a sense where they had the ability to produce, write, and choreograph their own songs (which was HUGE as trainees).

Thank you for the reaction! It's is so fun seeing you guys reactions. The 8 is my ultimate bias in seventeen, but mainly because he's more relatable to me. Again really want to know who you guys ultimate bias will be. For the vocal unit bring snacks cause that one is gonna be a bit long🙃🙃

If you really want to see them dance i recommend the "inside seventeen dance practice behind" videos. they are really fun to watch because you see them actually learning the choreography. they all are amazing dancers and performers. music video that i recommend for the performance team would be lilili yabbay

I know Hoshi may look bright but he is the scariest and strict! As a carat I have seen him being real angry for a few times and it's not a joke. One of them recently when he did a livestream, he kept being called by an unknown number (a toxic fans), he looks so pissed and he said himself that he will sue anyone who did that.

Actually there are alot of kpop idols who are Chinese! Kpop is Korean but many groups have members from all over the world including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Filipino, Indonesian, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and various of nationalities like German, Canadian, Australian, and American. Some mixed idols too! Kpop idols are very diverse :)

To this day Hoshi’s spider has been my fav svt solo ever, it is literally INSANE. In a behind video, you can see him in the studio literally working out the choreo as he’s recording the song it’s so cool!

Hoshi is such a goofball, he has so much energy especially when he’s with the members and with carats too! But when it comes to work and doing what he does best, he is so determined and confident, and even scary sometimes!! You can see more of his introverted personality when he’s not with the members! Literally in any solo interviews or other collab projects he’s so quiet and shy & calm😭 his versatility is crazy but that’s what makes him so amazing

BSS (BooSeokSoon) is a subunit within SVT that started out as a little joke back during their trainee days but they released a song called Just Do It back in 2018, it’s so fun! They’re just the happy viruses, you can’t help but smile. They made a comeback with a 3-song album this year back in Feb with the title song ‘Fighting’ and it literally broke records on their streaming platforms that no one has been able to beat so far, they had the entire nation dancing from children in school to the military/elderly & the entire acting & idol industry! They brought the fun back to kpop and are even nominated for BG of the year… against seventeen too lmao like the impact is huge!!😩

Jun has struggled with social anxiety in the past and it’s so lovely to see him come so far, he even did a solo speech at the UNESCO youth forum a couple days ago and he was such a natural!!🥺 He also says the members have helped him overcome it a lot

The funny thing about Hoshi is, that he now has a song with Epik High (he was shouting in the game with the earphones, one of the members of Epik High saw it and now he has a song called Screentime with them) Oh also Hoshi is very strict with the members, they’re scared when he’s angry but he is more strict with himself. There is a show called "Nothing much prepared“ which is a drinking show of Youngji (a female rapper and Svt Fan, has a Ft on BSS song "Fighting“), he was on it and came drunk to the dance practice even to not miss it and to get the choreography perfect, crazy right? Also DK and Joshua we’re on the Show, hilarious. Suga has also a drinking show called "Suchwita“, Woozi and Hoshi were guest there too. And the best thing is, he is an introvert but everyone mistakes him for an extrovert, so the members are making fun of it haha

Just to shed some light on the popularity of Seventeen, they are second in Korea only to BTS. They are huge and do genuinely care for each other. You can imagine that it's not easy to function as a 13-member group and that there would be arguments and fights. Typically, a group would downplay or deny these arguments, but Seventeen is very candid about them, which makes them seem very realistic. Of course, they've been together for so long that the arguments are never serious but I would just like to share the fact that they are very real.
