The original song/mv was actually sung in 4 languages: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English. It was written for the foreign members of nct and the struggles that they had to leave their home country to chase their dreams, but now they found their new home, which is NCT. This song is very special to the fandom. And it was released around the time during the pandemic, and nct all gathered around to release a full album, Resonance Pt.1 and Pt.2 which includes the 23 members at the time. From Home is one of the many great songs in that legendary album which won many awards including a daesang. Hope you could do a listening party in the future.

Thank you for this! There is actually a live version of this from MAMA 2020. NCT U stands for United, it does not have fixed members, means the lineup keeps changing and any members from other sub-units can be picked to participate as long as they fit the concept of the song.

The clips are all from when each member were trainees to nct where they were during the year the song came out. That's why some look very young because (NCT) Dream were the literal babies of NCT so they were probably all like maybe 10- early teens. The song is in 4 different languages and are sung by some of the foreign members and some Korean members but this version, if you watch the live Mama ver. the other members that are also foreigners show up in the end. Idk if y'all caught it but Doyoung in the beginning held his high note for 16 seconds. Also note: during that song there were 22 members in NCT if you ever get into them 3 members left and there is going to be 6 new members with NCT Wish (don't remember if it's the confirmed unit name) as the last nct members to be added.

oh btw, NCT U is a rotation of all the different members of NCT as a whole, you will hardly see the exact same combination of members in another NCT U song.

NCT United is a rotating sub unit in which any member of the fixed sub units can be on the 'Comeback' or 'Album'. The fixed sub units of NCT are: NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV and now the new and latest group NCT NewTeam. (WAYV is the sub unit of NCT that promotes in China and most of its members are from China. The name changes for trade reasons I suppose I'm not sure :( Thank you again and I hope you all have a great Day 😃
