it's so sad to see how everything went, but it was a great episode. "today i'm the happiest guy in this school" is cheongsan's best line so far. when you guys said "that isn't how it works" to soohyuk & "it's really strong nametag" at the end lol it just made me laugh :)

I fully agree that the commander made the right choice. When you are in charge of anything, as a leader, what may be the best thing for the collective population is not always the best thing for yourself personally. Even though his decision was one that made him feel guilty to the point that he chose to kill himself, he made the choice that would in the long run save many more lives than it killed. It is not about making the right choice, but rather choosing the least wrong choice. Also by making the choice himself, he saved many more lives as people were continuing to be infected left and right. A board of people who can never come to a consensus decision would have taken far to long. He could have given people a bit more time to escape, but it would have had to have been after they started the operation and distracted the zombies, so that they could escape to a safer place. He made his decision with the people's best interest in mind and with the goal of saving as many people as possible. And for that he should not have a guilty conscious, but the weight of all of the lives that had been lost that day was just too heavy, he could not help but want to relieve its burden and in his time of despair, the only way he could think to relieve it was to pay for the debt of death with the death of himself. Although I definitely think that he was a bit extreme, I have never had to deal with the guilt that bombing 60,000 brings you, whether they were already dead or not.
