While she is still an older teen it's never stated in Remake or Rebirth. I don't remember where her age was stated in the original, but she is confirmed 18 in Advent Children & 19 in Dirge of Cerberus, which retroactively confirms her as 16 in the original. Yeah you could use them as an excuse, but Patreon is so anti-adult art these days she probably doesn't want to risk it.
