I've been wanting to make an attempt to alter how I draw lately so that I can hopefully increase productivity. So, I wanted to try out a few things.

First, I made an attempt to switch my regular sketching pencil with my inking pen. The hope was to try and skip a step I usually take during the drawing process. I found this test to being slightly unsettling to wrap my head around. I kept wanting to produce clean line work while I was doing this and I think I need to continue to stick with my regular sketching pencil as a result. >v> I did modify my inking brush though to reduce the amount of texture it had. This helped a lot with the coloring process as I found I didn't spend near as much time going over and filling gaps.

Second, I want to try and break my cursed perfectionist mindset by allowing myself to be satisfied with less than perfectly pristine line work. The latex picture is more an example of the overall quality I am aiming for. Still fairly clean but not nearly as before. Looking at it like this I can't really tell a difference. So far, I like it. It might take a while for me to fully get comfortable with, but I think it'll be better for me in the long run with stress levels. =v=;; That and I hope will result in faster productivity.

Sounds like a plan, I'm glad you're giving yourself a break from the perfectionist streak. You do great work, but it can be strenuous. Looking forward to the future results, these are all gorgeous.

If it makes it easier do it, the art looks awesome
