Wanted to try something a little different this time with the fan poll winner. Lately I've been wanting to do more comic strip things and thought doing so with the fan poll winners might make them a little more special. Interested to hear what you think about that idea.

Anyway, thought I should educate myself a little bit about the character since I knew nothing about Shield Hero going in to this. Found myself marathoning the whole thing in 1 day >v>;;; I liked it a lot.

If it's not too much of an extra workload for you, depicting fan poll winners in comic strip style sounds like a fantastic idea! Nice to see you keep switching things up artistically every once in a while. Good call doing your "research" too; just like with your emphasis on artistic details and shading/lighting/color technique, it shows how much respect you have for the source material. What did you like most about the show? Any other praise I have would be the same kind that I've said for your previous pics here, and the comic style serves as a story-enriching bonus. Is Raphtalia's kidnapper based on a character from the show, or are they someone of your own design? (unlike you, I didn't do the proper research).

He's something more of my own creation. I had a character in mind to use, but canonically I'm not sure how much sense it would be to use that character based on something that happens to her. My own head canon is likely thinking this person was hired by them.
