I'm not sure if you plan on coloring this in the future, but the use of the red string makes for great contrast with the black-and-white background. Is it supposed to reference the "Red Thread of Fate" (or am I just reading too much into this again?) Also not sure how a spool of thread could be strong enough to serve as a restraint, but hey! Maybe it's magic thread. Looking forward to seeing how this comic develops either way.

there are plans to ink and color these pages. the red helps mainly to identify the lines later :3 though i did always like this aesthetic whenever i've seen it before
