First off, I love that this pic is tilted to the lift; the off-center positioning adds to Nico Robin's unpredictable situation as a prisoner of the World Government (I'm guessing the background is part of Enies Lobby). The Den Den Mushi is a great addition as well (who's is it, I wonder?), not to mention the detailed couch and armchair whose colors stand out against the blue-and-white background. Speaking of color, excellent job on Robin's outfit. I don't know what the aforementioned throne is supposed to look like (haven't goten that far), but the outfit is definitely regal-looking. The sheen and shading adds a nice bit of realism to boot. The fact that Robin's heavily bound with belts and an armbinder (not to mention the muzzle gag) works especially well for her in this drawing b/c of her powerful Devil Fruit; it would make sense for her captors to secure her so tightly due to her abilities. Or maybe the guards figured a Seastone collar wasn't safe enough, and went a little overboard in keeping her imprisoned. As for the clamps, wellll...perhaps that was Cipher Pol's idea of payback for all the damage her friends caused them back in the Enies Lobby arc. Talk about harsh retribution, yowch. Speaking of which, is this drawing supposed to take place during the One Piece story? You said you drew this as a commission for RachWrites, but does it have a set narrative around it or is it just meant to be a cool pic? Whatever the intent, awesome results indeed.
