Seems Ann is taking the cat part of cat burglar a little too seriously ;P Though this may not have been her idea.

My quest to figure out how to solidify the 2nd place winner continues with this sketch of Ann Takamaki. For a 2nd place winner I'm unsure (currently) how far I should take the picture before it should be considered "finished." Probably a simple solution to this that's staring me in the face, but will continue to ponder this.

It's funny how, despite her hands not being tied BEHIND her back, Ann is still unable to remove her tape gag; not only is this an intriguing change from hogties or chairties (although who would complain about those drawings?) but it also makes me wonder about her captor. Assuming she didn't do this to herself, was the motivation to kidnap one of the Phantom Thieves or just humiliate her? The cat whisker and mouth decoration is a nice touch, too. Based on her arched left eyebrow, I'd guess that she's rather irritated about her situation. As far as the parameters for "finishing" 2nd place pictures go, you seem to have a good amount of detail on the damsel herself: the shading over part of Ann's helmet, the light and dark lines of her hair, the slight sheen on both the duct tape and the rest of her uniform that's not covered in shadow...it's a very detailed sketch, not to mention that it's in color as well. If anything, you could add a little bit of background to further signify that's it's a 2nd place pic (whereas the 1st place ones would have a full backgrounds as you've done before).

I love your comments :3 having not played the game I cant say much in terms of motivations. I would like it if it came to switch ;v; Backgrounds could be a good idea. I'll try them out on the next one
