Idol School Ep. 11 (Patreon)

wowee what a ride! finally finished with idol school. thankfully they didn't drag the finale out unbearably long, but I still am shocked that we had 30+ minutes of just them announcing names...

as a side note, due to the fact that I've had a couple very recent dms about this topic and I wanted to acknowledge it so people know I am aware, I very recently learned of the controversies surrounding idol school, including the rigging scandals and how they treated the contestants. I only was made aware of this after I had recorded this episode, which is why I didn't bring it up, but I thought it was important to mention it now. it does make me feel even more heartbroken for the other girls that had to deal with their dreams being shattered by a fixed lineup, especially girls like natty and haein that were obviously affected. however, I want to also add that this will not change my support for fromis or any of the girls in the future. their music still speaks to me and their bond is still something I want to explore more. they don't deserve hate due to the company's shitty handling of reality shows, and I hope what this exposing has done is made it so this is a lot less likely to happen in the future. I am excited to see where they go in the future, and as sad as it is that they had to come from something so gross and unfortunate, I hope that people can see their talent and passion regardless. <3
