Something that I've seen argued about a lot in regards to kpop reactions is if a reactor should post an song/album reaction if their opinion is mostly negative of the music they're listening to. Some people think that yes, reactors should be able to share any opinion on art that they want, as long as they are being respectful... While others believe that kpop spaces and fandoms themselves are already so negative, that reactors should just not post something if they dislike it.

I've always been honest in my reactions, and I am very willing to tell people if a song is not my style or I probably won't listen to it more... but if I were to react to something that I really didn't vibe with, or had more negative things to say than positive, would you still be interested in seeing it? Or should it be something I just leave in the drafts and move on to something else? Would your opinion change if I was reacting to a group you really liked? Please let me know! I'd be super curious to hear from you guys.

as long as somebody is respectful about it and keeps the conversation more about the production/company/what they dont like about it and not focus solely on the idols themselves (most of the time though there are some exceptions) then im fine with it if its about one of my faves then i probably just wont watch it haha most reactors ive seen talk about this stick with a "if i dont like it and have nothing constructive or meaningful to say about it then i wont put it up" which i think is a good way to do it

I think when you are a fan of the group "negative reactions" (I prefer to call them "critical reactions") are okay, because it comes from a place of knowing the group and their style. Reacting to a group/artist for the first time, hating it, and still posting a negative reaction is a no for me... it's pointless because you will probably won't keep reacting to them, I think it's better to explore it in private and if you find that you actually like other of their stuff, then giving it a second try. At the end of the day I think there's no way to classify something as bad just because it doesn't suit your personal taste, saying "it's not my thing" or "this is not what i was expecting" is completely fine, but dedicating time to explain why you hate it so much might not be a good use of your and other people's time.
