“An Obelisk is an amalgam of ra’d sahirs who were either deemed too unusable to be plugged in a power plant or mounted on Icons. 

Surmounted by a ra’d crystal, it absorbs all nearby excess lightning into it, rendering us useless in a very wide radius. 

You could technically damage it via more…physical means, but not only are those abominations absurdly resilient as they’re made of…us, they’re always extremely well guarded and considered “holy” for some fucking reason, so naturally, no one’s touching them.
