Comparing this stage to the initial sketch is fun. Color makes it easier to visualize the size and volume of things in space so this is the part where I make most of the adjustments — from here on there's usually not much difference from the final thing.

The biggest changes were the size and place of the tail and cake, so it seems my anatomy is pretty spot on 👍.
