LOTA / Mrs Ada Hoover ( Bert’s mother ) VisDev 2 (Patreon)

I’m happy to introduce you more officially Ada, the Bert mom ! ♥️ She’s Eldian and nurse soldier during the daily Marleyan assaults/missions.

Bert mom is a mystery for we all, Bert fans. We have no clear informations about her in the canon. I know lot of people and friend artists imagine she’s dead before Bert are really able to know her. I thought about it very long time, and I decided to make her alive in my story and she is an important protagonist next to Allan Hoover who is her husband and the Bert dad. What happened to her during the Bert’s childhood, what was her relationship with his son ? …🤫

She is a very interesting character design exercise, because here too, I had to make radical choices. I think this concept is very close of the final design for her. I’m just going continue to think about some details to fix ( hairstyles etc ) . But I decided to imagine her ( and Allan too ) as a young adult . I don’t know how people will react about it because we are more used to see warriors parent’s designs with older faces. But this project is also a good opportunity to challenge myself, and trying to imagine something maybe we are less used to see, like drawing them with a younger look ( around of 20-25 years old ) when they meet each other and fell in love ! I hope I will manage to draw it ! 🫣
