Thank you for reacting to such a great movie! I can never watch this movie without crying. The movie does a smart thing of showing Sho-ko almost committing suicide on the bridge so we have an inkling of sympathy when we see how he treated her in elementary. Movies that comment on the subject of suicide always hit hard. The whole movie is a gem. Also it is cool on a rewatch to notice how much of a pain in the butt and narcissist Miki Kawai is. Its a common sentiment among the community about how she is the WORST character in the movie. She hides how horrible she is especially when you notice how she bullied Shōko Nishimiya. She's the one that purposely made Shoko sing ahead along in the chorus. At least Naoka Ueno is open in her feelings of hate. I'd rather have a person be openly rude to me than hide behind their words while claiming to be my friend. Thanks again!!!! P.S I don't have any movie recommendations as the anime movies I love are part of franchises (Like I love Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale or the Girls und Panzer movies, but they require watching shows first)

Ok post comment thought: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is highly rated among anime movies. I have some criticisms I personally felt towards the movie, but it is a highly highly rated movie regardless. So while it is something I'm not like super excited about you might have others in the community who feel differently. Thanks again.
