Albedo is in line with what Ainz wants with one exception that I hope isn’t cut from the movie. Here though, we see how her approach is to show the world the stick, so they appreciate how sweet the carrot is. Demonstrate how cruel they can be so people never even think of resisting again.

The show does tell you everything that you need. 1: You know that during Ainz and Demiurge talk duriung their fake fight that they kidnapped a bunch of people and worker in the warehouse quarter. There were A LOT of people they took. 2: Ainz killed a lot of people with the Baby Goats. Those people were the people that normally work on the farms. With these people being gone the kingdom was going to go thru a lot of food problems. 3: They talked about the Golden Princess before after the talks with the Emperor. 4: Hilma was one of the Heads of 8 Fingers that they tortured. When they took over 8 Fingers. Killing or kiddnapping people has an effect on the kingdom. These are really things that happened an they have an effect on the world of Overlord. The rest of this season is going to refer to pass seasons. Thats what so great about Overlord because those little things will come back an be important.
