Absinthe: Animation Showcase (Patreon)

Hey everyone, V.D.Y. here! Back from vacation with another Hereafter post!

This week we'll finally be following up our Absinthe introduction post with a full showcase of her animations!

Starting with her Walk!

This one seemed like a fun challenge for Twi! Absinthe is a much larger character than any we've shown up to this point, so there was a lot of thought put into making sure her animations had weight behind them!

Next up, the run animation!

She has such a fierce look! Imagine this face running towards you at full speed!

And now, the jump animation!

The jump is always a hard one to talk about, since it's hard to convey just what it looks like outside of the actual game! But I think Twi did a great job conveying the heft behind this jump!

Finally, the attack animation!

This one was tough! I saw Twi and Silk go through a lot of iterations trying to get this one right! I'm really happy with how it came out!
