Hey there, everyone!

Silk Wright here! This month, we hit a major milestone! All the main writing for the game is done! This includes the Main Story, Location Descriptions, and Supplementary Lore. The remaining writing is ad hoc writing that will occur mid-development, such as side quests, NPC dialogue, and item descriptions. This isn't the most visually stimulating update, but I thought it was major enough for a post.

We will continue to give you individualized updates on locations as we develop concept art and, later, actual in-game tile art of the locations. Still, I can give you an overview of the general story roadmap.

Players will start in the Antellan capital of Sorce, one of the great cities of Pontelongara, the country of the Antella. From there, players will travel with Derulio as he explores the world, building the mystical new science known as Thaumaturgy. He'll travel to Harmony Town, the new, fledgling nation led by Mayor Circlet, finding a companion in a young filly, Aurora Eos. From there, players will explore locations such as Homestead, Hexed Holt, and Ainestown. You'll even get the opportunity to climb the heights of Mount Hojfar, one of the World Peaks, and dive to the depths of Sorrow Lake to engage in an underwater adventure. All this is to build the art of Thaumaturgy, inspired by a divine spark whispered by The Forgotten Goddess, a being that supposedly no longer exists...

I would tell you all the details, but we'd definitely be entering major spoilers at that point. Hopefully, this loose explanation will be enough until you can explore the world yourself.
