Hey guys!

I hope you're excited as we are to get started with our R1M build!  Since we are waiting on the right carbon frame cover for the SP I figured it would be a great time to switch things up and get started on the R1M!

The current plan for the build is to finish the Carbon V4 SP this month and choose a winner in March!  We do need to hang onto that bike until we get a few decent days so we can ride it and make sure everything is working properly so keep that in mind as well.

As for the R1M we started with a tail tidy because I simply can't stand those damn massive factory fenders.  With just a tail tidy, passenger peg removal and the single seat cowl we already shaved 3 lbs off the bike!

Our goal will be to get the R1M will be to shave 40 lbs off the bike which would get it down around that 410 lb mark!  Enjoy the episode and stay tuned for lots of great content coming with these two beauties!

Thanks for fixing the camera issues. Cool to switch platforms for a change.

This has probably been said before: but you should consider doing a cafe racer build out if a new Bonneville. This would get a slightly different audience attracted to your page and perhaps get them into race bikes after seeing your other builds. It would be awesome to see how much more power you get out of that 3 cyl and how much weight you could shed. Similar to your xdiavel build.

Doing a cafe build has always been on the list but right now with the current situation in the world with parts availability its not the best time to try and do something completely different so I think that will have to wait till things get closer to "normal"
