Hey guys!

We put the stock Tuono with a full tank of gas on the scales to get a stock weight figure and it surprisingly weighs 470 lbs!  I didn't think the bike would be that heavy as it cares it's weight very well but my goal is to try and strip off 30 lbs of weight by the time we are done.

I also mention a lot of our build series plans.  Highlights include carbon wheels, world superbike spec brake calipers/rotors, full titanium exhaust and a custom paint scheme!

You can check out a lot of the parts we will be using by clicking on the RSV4/Tuono poducts list on www.motomillion.com.  And don't forget if you use code "Campisi" you will save money on anything you order from them!

I hope you guys are as excited as we are for this build and enjoy the video!

Maybe for the build after the Tuona a tribute build using a Ducati Streetfighter or whichever bike was Carlin's Favorite. You could auction it off and donate the proceeds to his family.

I will definitely do a tribute bike to Carlin when the time is right but I will give it away just like all my other bikes to those who support our series. The gofundme page raised plenty of money for his family and if not Ducati should have more than enough to help out if needed 👍

Thats' heavy! My 1999 Aprilia RSV1000 is only 452lbs/205kg fully fuelled. Full titanium exhaust and fairings removed, lithium battery, but not many other big weight reductions. Still running standard wheels... 20 years on and it seems manufacturers are still stuck for over 200kg for a 1000 sports bike. So much more hp tho...

well our carbon V4 panigale was under 400 lbs when we were done so I think we can strip 20 to 30 lbs off this one too :)
