Good Morning Primos!

Welcome back for our first tier 2 EXCLUSIVE for Yoongi's Birthday week!

We've heard this song just once before back in September, and ir was nice to get an refresher! We were mesmerized by it then, and mesmerized by it now. This go around we get a fresh new rendition live and up close. It was too good to just hear once, so we took some time to listen to the studio version as well. Now we can officially add it to our CCW Playlist and listen to our hearts content  😊🙌🏼

Enjoy!

When you react to sugas documemtry Road to DDay on disney plus you will see he visits the composer in Japan and its really special to him..he passed after the visit and didn't hear the finished song.

geev

Missing yoongi hours

Ivy

Sorry to quote wikipedia but to explain who Ryuichi Sakamoto is. And in Snooze he is featured as keyboards. “As a film score composer, Sakamoto won an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Grammy, and two Golden Globe Awards. Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (1983) marked his debut as both an actor and a film-score composer; its main theme was adapted into the single "Forbidden Colours" which became an international hit. His most successful work as a film composer was The Last Emperor (1987), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Original Score, making him the first Japanese composer to win an Academy Award.[7] after which he continued earning accolades composing for films such as The Sheltering Sky (1990), Little Buddha (1993), and The Revenant (2015). “ I was waiting for this reaction. I knew u would love this. The other songs in this documentary were also performed live and very cinematic. Hope u could react to them as well. 💜

Emmy

There was a better-quality video of this MV. Great reaction, I was most excited for this one.

Chim

This live was made for the documentary. He did live performances for haegeum, daechwita, people, people pt2, amygdala and snooze just for the DDAY documentary so I’m not sure the location

Sofía Hernández

I knew you were going to love this💖 I'm surprised you didn't know about Ryuichi Sakamoto! If you don't know it already, you should definitely check "Marry Christmas, Mr Lawrence"💟Such a wonderful piano piece... RIP.

Neringa

I love this song so much. If Snooze will not be on my wrapped I would be surprised.

JengHoseok

This is my favorite and it just gives me hope with his repeating line of "Everything will be okay, everything will be okay"

Alice Smith

Screen was way too small the words barely fit and were too small maybe ajudst the screen when there's a stage show please

LynQueen

Actully this version - https://youtu.be/zCNqdvR9e_w?si=vEM0vju5U7ZJxMfa (by elisssa) is better in visual and the transitions are seamless, also you can see Ryuichi Sakamoto (RIP) in this clip too (yoongi visited him in Japan) :)

Sofía Hernández

To have Sakamoto on a track is just INSANE to me. What a priviledge. Anyways, great reaction guys, as always!! Cuídense, un beso!!!

Alice Smith

You should check out The Rose on your own time. They are real.popular right now and are Korean but speak english alot on their music so you may enjoy some of their songs.

Dayi BV

I really love this song. I knew The Rose because of this song. They are so good too. Suga always blow my mind

Somol Mean

We ( my wife ,daughter , and I ) were at his D-Day concert and it was very emotional and heart felt. 💜

Bam Yeontan

Was already here even before my mail post notification 😅 that’s how much I am looking forward to this lol

Christie Temple

Suga is just genius. This song is about his juniors in the music industry - BTS didn't really have seniors to rely on so he wants to be that person for up and coming artists. Also Woosong is amazing... check out The Rose, his band, if you're in the mood for some rock :)

goldennn

this song means so much to me, at one point last year i had to skip it whenever it came up on my playlist simply because i couldn’t listen to it without crying. and i always have tears in my eyes whenever i watch the live performance of this song, knowing what the lyrics mean and how when yoongi performed this at his last concert of D-Day Tour, he said everything from the moment he debuted in 2013 and all the moments with BTS passed in front of his eyes, all their struggles and stuff and that’s why he started crying. knowing they didn’t have supportive seniors and someone who they can ask for advice… but now, to all the younger artists, they became the seniors they never had and i’m so proud of him and of all 7 of them.

MintChoco

Such a good song! Woosung has such a beautiful voice too. I’m seeing The Rose live for the first time tomorrow. Very exited for that.

Kahalia Dixon

this song hitsss im gonna have to download

JengHoseok

The song started right away, not like something was cut off.

Neringa

Dday documentary Snooze is 🔥. But it's so hard to find on yt. I'm gatekeeping I found on twitter. Lmao. I can't wait when Yoongi comes back & he sings it with Woosung live. Seriously obsessing with this song.

APOBANGPO7

I cried so much listening to this song for the first time and I still get so emotional everytime I watch him sing it. He is has so much love and emotion in him. A lot of people , me included at the beginning, thought that Yoongi is cold or he’s too logical and not emotional but this so far from the truth! He is unbelievably sensitive, the one who hides his so many emotions but knows how to use them in songs so geniusly! I always gonna be amazed by his talent, brain and heart. 💜 my bias wrecker 💜

Ada

Possibly one of my favorite tracks on d-day. I cried buckets the first time I heard it and his lyrics are very honest and comforting to anyone who has ever followed a dream whether is was fulfilled or not.

Lisa Thomas Le

I was introduced to the Rose after this song came out. I LOVE woosungs voice! If you guys ever wanted to try anything else besides BTS I think you would like them. Their style is indie rock. Suga listens to them they must he good!

Leeh Marx

Its all gonna be alright is "Da Gwentchana jirgoya" (다 괜찮아질거야) that is what he repeats in the song. Just a thing, you were talking about the difference in his first mixtape to D day, but this kind of style has always been a part of his solo works, you have First Love on BTS's 2016 Wings album, you have "So Far Away" of his first mixtape Agust D, also on 2016. You have "Dear My Friend" on his second mixtape "D-2" on 2020. Of course he matured over time, but BTS's nickname for Yoongi is chameleon for a reason, he is just a born genius ♥️

Ailaudy93

Watching this documentary the first time I was so surprised to see that performance with yoongi playing the guitare (and Woosung not) Woosung is part of The Rose a kband and one of the 3 kgroups I listen almost everyday (BTS TXT and The Rose). His voice always amazes me and he is in my top Korean voices who make me emotional : - Jimin (BTS) - Dean (soloist) - Woosung (The Rose) - Changsub (BTOB) And lately on the side of the list - Yeonjun (TXT - yeah the one drunk during suchwita) - Dawn (soloist)

Emmy

The "Dream" lyrics @ 11:17 are from Suga's song So Far Away, I hope you guys will get to listen to both versions of that song someday.

💜

İ was so mesmerised by this song and woosungs voice the first time i heard it, i cried a little bit. İt is my fav track on the album and have to hold myself from looping it😅 İ get goosebumps everytime this plays on my playlist. Yoongi is really born to do this istg and on a side note…. he looks friggin HOT here.

Estefany Ramirez

I love The Rose! Saw them in October and I fell in love with Woosung voice! I'm so happy this collaboration happened! Love love love this song ❤️

Anthony

Hi guys! For a change and something new and different.. Pls try to watch their tiktok compilations.. Esp their individual tiktok compilations. It's very fun and entertaining to watch 💜💜💜

Good_Bamm

Finally a Gabriel singing voice! It's been a year and 58k subs overdue

Claire Young

the amount of times I have listened to this song and cried in my car in between classes or work😭 I'm not an aspiring musician, but this song has still given me an indescribable amount of comfort and much-needed assurance as a college student and young adult trying to navigate life and make my dreams a reality💜

justsarah

I'm so happy you guys did a dedicated reaction to Snooze. 😭😭 I love this song so so so much. I've been a fan of Woosung/The Rose almost as long as I've known BTS so to get news that they were collaborating was a dream come true. And they did not disappoint .

Bam Yeontan

Summer is me when Daniel and Gabriel were talking about the guitar capo GCD 456 whatever guitar stuff that is 😅

Camille Esguerra

I'm pretty sure i'd watch all your videos, but for some reason i couldn't recall your initial reaction vid to this 😭

Neringa

I already listened more than once Snooze today but now I'm gonna go listen more. Most of the time I ending up looping when it comes on playlist.

Ivy

I wanted to add also that Yoongi and Bts had a hard time when they were younger because they didnt have anyone in the business who were older than them who they can approach and ask advice and guidance during their hardships. So Yoongi wanted to be that kind of person for the newer and younger idols thus Snooze 💜

Kat

Let me just say it’s so NICE watching reactors that KNOW MUSIC. I love hearing your thoughts on things like chord progressions and musical choices made

Jenelle Edwards

Guys this is officially my favorite reaction from you guys I literally cried this is one of my yoongi favs along with seesaw. Thanks for today Guys ☺️☺️☺️☺️

pomichodddaaaii

Ryuichi Sakamoto is a very very well known pianist for many movies, but some you may know are The Revenant, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, and The Last Emporer. Yoongi wanted someone he looked up to in the song; someone that had inspired him growing up, while also having a newer artist singing. Snooze still makes me so emotional, I am so happy you all enjoyed it 💜

laura

truly my comfort song, during his Dday tour me and my friend broke down crying while watch this song live. It’s a masterpiece. 💜

YeaIAmThatGirl

I really love the part where it repeats 'Its all gonna be alright" because it's like a mantra for when you feel like what you're doing is not worth it anymore. "Like hold on just a little bit more, everything is gonna be alright"

moonie εïз

yes! you guys saw this live in d-day the final. this is my favorite song on the album, seeing it live was such a different experience, seriously amazing. woosung and the rose are great, I saw them live late last year ((check them out in your own time if you want, they’re one of my favorite k-bands🫣)) ryuichi’s daughter has talked about yoongi and snooze, here’s the interview: https://x.com/061313purple/status/1706347449072361583?s=61&t=-lQvVpnSHKyzKtJu1gVmsg

Thankful to Yoongi for introducing me to the The Rose

Georgia

This is by far one of my favourite Yoongi songs with such a important message that everyone needs to hear ❤️ also Woosung is a member of a group called the Rose his voice is haunting and perfect 😍 the rose are absolutely amazing and underrated they deserve more recognition as they’ve been through a very hard time themselves! I’m going to see them in Amsterdam at the end of March I can’t wait 😁

TulipMae

I saw them a few months back as well, they are fantastic!

Rain

They didn’t want to watch this one due to documentary spoilers, but it is very nice!!

tannie misser

I'm so happy you reacted to this song, it's easily one of my favorites from the whole Agust D catalog 😭 I'm also happy to see how much you guys enjoyed it! Once you react to So Far Away from Yoongi's first mixtape, this song will also gain an extra layer of meaning. Can't wait to see you guys eventually react to other Agust D tracks, especially from this album. I know Daniel and Gabriel will appreciate the interlude!

Rain

They didn’t want spoilers to the documentary. This was made for them and subbed so they wouldn’t be spoiled I believe.

Po

I luv snooze 💜 and woosung was a perfect fit for the song.

Lisa

So glad you posted this. I wanted them to know it before listening to the song. He's not "just any composer" for sure.

Rain

Love seeing you guys get deep into the music. Great reaction ✨

ravel

"the lyrics were deep, realistic, but with a positive outcome" such a good description of d-day

Tarmill

My favourite song from yoongi 💜 It gives me so much comfort. I've been considering getting a tattoo relating to this song

Seneca

Great reaction as always 🙌 And I love Yoongi's decision to have that repetition of "it's gonna be okay". It feels like we're peering into his mind when he's gone through hard times, like it was his inner monologue/mantra to console himself. And now he's repeating it for those who need to hear it.

Ivy

And also, (lol so many things to add), Snooze introduced me to The Rose. Love them so much! Esp main vocal Woosung. His voice is haunting. Their fans are called Black Roses. I like their style 💜

Kearyce Moore

One of my favorite songs off dday😍💜

Georgia

Omg have an amazing time let me know how it is! I’m going to see them in Amsterdam can’t wait 😁

Mimi

Snooze is beautiful, heartbreaking, hopeful all at once. Yoongi an artist-top tier

Shreya

this is my favourite song from the album and watching him interact with Mr. Sakamoto in his documentary was soo cool

Nikolina

I already knew the rose before the song. They are absolutely great. So when the tracklist for dday was announced and i saw ft Woosung i completely lost it. I couldnt believe the two worlds colliding. This song is beautiful always makes me cry and the fact that suga and woosung are also good friends is like the cherry on top 💜💜

ravel

if you're on discord, could you send it to me? I'm having a hard time finding one

Lisa

Someone else provided the needed background on Ryuichi Sakamoto, so I'll provide more background for Woosung. He is a member of The Rose, which is a Korean band that has a really interesting history itself. Woosung and SUGA are "same age friends" (93-liners), but Woosung is Korean American. He was born in Korea, but he grew up in California and sort of stumbled into an audition with a Korean agency, even though he planned to go to college (psychology major, I think?). They brought him overseas, and he was a trainee for a while. At some point he met the members of The Rose (different group name at the time - Windfall - and they were a "busking" band at the time). They ended up recruiting him for their band, and they entered J&Star Company and changed the name to The Rose. They did one of the talent discovery shows in Korea and saw decent success. Eventually, though, they sued their label to be released based on harsh promotional schedules and never having been paid since debut (for three years, in other words). The three Korean members entered the military in 2020, and while they served Woosung returned to the US and released a solo album, then toured it. After the other members completed service, they got back together after settling their lawsuit and freeing thselves from their label. They then created their own label, named after the original band name - Windfall. They are now touring worldwide. Their music is great - I discovered them on TikTok while the three Korean members were in the military and the band's future was unsettled due to the lawsuit. I was already a fan, and this song with SUGA just solidified it for me. (I knew most of this, but I referred to Wikipedia to make sure I had the chronology and a couple of details correct.)

MinnieMars

So Far Away was actually the song that got me into BTS so it’ll always have a special place in my heart. At the time I heard it, the song deeply reflected and captured what I was feeling. When D-DAY was released and I heard Snooze for the first time, I cried when I realised it referenced So Far Away. So now, these two are my go-to comfort songs and I hope you’ll get the chance to listen to So Far Away someday. The original version is with Suran but there’s also a version with Jin and Jungkook on Soundcloud. The vocal line has also sung a snippet of So Far Away in one of their concerts 💜

ravel

I think the person that made the video for them wanted them to be able to see the band the entire time, without the cuts of the doc, that's why. But I'm so happy they listened to the actual track afterwards for the better quality too

Kajri

I bawl Everytime on this song. It was on repeat last year which was so tough and this song was such an anchor

Chloe

That whole 16 bars of "its all gonna be alright" tears me up everytime. As a person with anxiety and panic disorder, it's exactly what I did to calm myself down. Just repeating those words endlessly to myself. Now Yoongi sings it to me. 💜

Kajri

Also Woosung is one of my favorite singers outside of BTS. He phenomenal

Kajri

If u see his last concert and this song will make you break

M

I love this song! I cried seeing it live especially after the tribute that played.

Lina

The Rose is amazing, love their music since debut and I adore Woosong’s voice too.

Chiii<3

I loveeeee this reaction, I love how you guys appreciate the artistry and yoongi’s genius. Love y’all💜

Nikolina

Well i think ive read somewhere that yoongi had the agust d story planned out in his mind.3 albums each 10 songs. Like his first mixtape he has blonde hair and that persona is his angry self. His songs are more angry more intense like he had to prove he was a real rapper. For his second mixtape he kills the blond king as if he puts down that anger he had. The songs are more about his relationships with people and how hard it is to navigate them. And then d day is actually the album he comes to accept his past self and all that trauma ( esp amygdala). More mature and more at ease. He said he looked back the door as he exited on his last concert when you saw his performance and that meant that agust d was saying goodbye. He doesnt know if he will release any music as agust d again but that persona served its purpose and made yoongi become at peace with himself. Such a complete and meaningfull journey makes me so proud of him. ( correct me if im wrong )

Lina

This song always remind me about Moonbin because it happened right before Suga’s D-day tour…

katie

IM SO GLAD you listened to the studio version too - I was yelling at my phone “just listen to it guys you know you want to” and then you did. That was my resolving note 🤣

Angelique Lindig

That live is from his documentary on disney channel / app

MLS

I was so excited to see this on your schedule! It is such a beautiful song 💜 This is a heartfelt comfort song to anyone with a dream - big or small. Thank you!

Joy chepngeno

The song is amazing and touching 💜you should also check out movie night concert which was in the middle of his tour

princess

i love love snooze pls pls pls also react to AGUST D by Agust D

Tanya perez

This is the song Yoongi performed at his final concert that had him break down crying that you guys reacted too. It is very emotional and so heartfelt. Yoongi is a true artist and music was indeed his calling in life. I recently saw footage that ARMY at this concert that came up on my Instagram Feed showing RM, JIN, and JHope reacting Yoongi getting emotional during this song when he performed in Korea. RM, Jimin and JK all made quest appearance and performed with Yoongi. Jin and Jhope got leave to attend the concert and ARMY went nuts when he showed them in the audience. 💜💜💜💜

YuuChan097_OT7💜

One of my favorite songs 💜🥺 That "Everything will be okay" was heartfelt. I can imagine him saying this to himself ever since the beginning. I really love Yoongi's song writing skills. Him & Namjoon has a very different way of writing lyrics. Yoongi is straightforward, & very raw while Namjoon's is very creative and poetic.

Rokm_

God I miss Yoongi so much. I hope he’s doing well in the military 😭💜

Socho

Thanks for posting this. The summary kinda skimmed past the background for Mr Sakamoto, which is a pity as he is a LEGEND!

Su C Sim

I LOVE this song!

Jacqueline

I absolutely love Yoongis and Woosungs voices and the song is just amazing. I have been to the concert of The Rose last sunday in Hamburg (Germany) and I really have to say that they are an amazing band. I hope that sometime in the future Woosung or the whole band will be on an episode of Suchwita. Thanks for another great video.

PrettyJumpTree

Snooze is probably the top of my list for Suga. Its heartfelt and warm. Also, check out Woosong's band The Rose. They perform in the US often and they are very good.

Lori

One of my favorite songs on this album. It's so soothing. Something about the repeated "it's going to be alright" makes me emotional every time I hear it.

LoriG

Such a great song and reaction!! 💜💜💜💜

Keren Metz

On my very first listen, this song and Amygdala easily became my favorites from the D-Day album. I especially appreciate Yoongi's collaboration with Mr. Sakamoto, who was one of the greats (he is an Oscar-winning composer and he scored the movie "The Last Emperor"). On one of your previous videos, you commented on Yoongi's musical style and that he loves cinematic scores. I believe that it was due to Mr. Sakamoto's influence. Yoongi remembers watching a movie in his hometown of Daegu and hearing Mr. Sakamoto's score, which encouraged him to be a composer himself. Thank you, CCW, for dedicating a reaction video to this song as I know you've heard it before with the D-Day concert video.

taeyuh

snooze is one of my favourite songs honestly ever

bere

when i listened to snooze the first time and heard the same lines from so far away i completely broke down😭

Nira

One word....MASTERPIECE. I love this song, so comforting!

Nira

I'm also waiting and hoping for Suchwita with The Rose 🤞

RiRoo734!

Can't wait for y'all to react to D-Day album in full. I have a feeling that they will like Interlude:Dawn because along with amygdala and snooze, it's my favorite.

Ñingi

are you guys going to seed day the movie ?

Tata_BunBun_Mini_Moni_Hobi_MinPD_Jinahh

This is my favorite song, and I always have it played on repeat when I am feeling burnt out. This just not resonates to idols, but to all people working on their career trying to make it in life who's mental health is at stake and is barely living just surviving coz that's just life. This song always makes me emotional as a singlemom and a breadwinner at the same time, without any close friends to rely on and no family or siblings to support me even emotionally. I mean, BTS is the Family and my son is the only reason I get to mentally rest (Snooze) and go on with my life. This song means soo much to much, BTS and ARMY means a lot to me, they are my family now and I will forever be thankful of their existence. Thank you for such a wonderful reaction

Aly

It’s been mentioned, but Woosung and the band The Rose truly are such incredible musicians with an amazing discography - and they frequently go live (both on Instagram and on their own app)! One time Woosung even live-streamed during their concert through a camera in his glasses, giving us a chance to feel his experience as a rockstar ~

Jacqueline

We just have to keep our fingers crossed, that it will happen after the military.

Elise Kapstad

Woosung is such an amazing and unique singer😍

Elise Kapstad

i honestly think groups like The Rose, Exo, SHINee and Mamamoo would be groups u could like. They are all at the same age as BTS as well

TemTem

Best Song EVER 💜💜💜

Line Henriksen

This is such a beautiful song!! I love the lyrics! Yoongi and Sammy (Woosung) singing together is just so perfect!! Their vocals are amazing!

Monique ♡︎

Watching y’all fall into the song and figure out the chords and all that, it’s so fun! ☺️☺️

Jacqueline

yoongi + woosung is an amazing combination, their voices and talent are out of this world! even if you don't fully dive into the rose i definitely suggest checking out their music. I feel that you as musicians would enjoy their musical talent.

LoriG

‘Staying Alive’ cpr another Grey’s reference?? 🤔

nav

my fav song from d-day

Ali

The honesty and vulnerability Yoongi embraces in his lyrics, whether speaking on loneliness, pain, anger, hopefulness, comfort, injustice, etc is what draws me to his songs. You can feel his emotions very clearly in his words and voice. Wonderful reaction guys. I’m excited for you all to hear his 2 mixtapes and solo album in their entirety- the narrative he wove throughout them is painful but beautiful.

Ali C

One of my favorite songs from D-Day. I’ve also seen the singer who’s with him live with his band The Rose and his voice and music matches yoongis vibe so well

Afriyie Frimpong

The lyrics are bad so it was painful to read. Wish it got better subs

OnaNikki

Daniel, you have to learn this on the piano.

ROM HEADLINER

Cant wait for them to react to SUGA AND IU on pallete/suchwita

DzulGM

"Snooze" makes me cry everytime

Bertha

Woosung killed it.

Tracie

as a yoongi bias, thank you so much for this. snooze if my fav from his dday album and I get emotional everytime I hear it. woosung did such an amazing job as well. I just love everything about this song.

Maritza Islas

This is a "have a good cry song but once its done, know that Yoongi is there for you"

ada

one of my faves. this solidified being a fan of Woosung ( & The Rose)- I actually went to see them in San Francisco LY. Also I was also a fan of Sakamoto so I was so surprised when I found out Yoongi was a fan!

upeksha senanayake

One of my favorites every time I hear I am crying like lyrics console me that saying you gonna be alright. Man I miss yoongi .

gnuoyawh

Woosung is awesome 😝 You should check out his solo music or his band, The Rose,’s music! 🎸🎶

Kelly Y

hi, I don't know if anyone mentioned, but I think it starts like that, immediately, b/c it is preceded by the instrumental interlude and he really wants you to listen to the album as a continuous whole...lol. hope that made sense! Absolutely love this song 💜🔥🎶🎹

KiMinYoongi

And this final concert is the one that is being shown in April in theaters - you guys have to go see it. Snooze is haunting in concert. I can still see the background video they used while he was singing - ecru time I hear the sing. It sends me into a calm, but yearning type of mood. You can't miss it!!

Alwena Willis

One of my favourite Yoongi songs. I love his music and to really see how much of a genius he is, listen to the Instrumental versions of his songs. One of my favourite BTS song is one he wrote in his early days ‘Let me know’ . I prefer a live version as Jin has a bigger part and I think the song particularly suits his voice. Also the rap parts are so emotional and a highlight note by Jimin really set it in concrete as one of my favourites. I also love ‘So far away’ the Jin and Jungkook version though Suran’s version is great as well, but the one with Jin and Jungkook again hits differently. One of my favourite songs is also one he wrote for Lee So Ra a female Korea; singer and I think you would love it also, it’s called ‘Song Request’. Basically I love everything he writes. He promised to write a song for Jin which I hope will feature in his album. He thinks Jin suits ballads the best so I would anticipate a ballad song with great instrumentation. Thanks for the review, many people can not see past their boy band image to realise what brilliant musicians they all are. 💜💜💜💜

iheartstrwbrry

this is a scene in his documentary in disney+ which is also available on weverse. i hope you'll get to watch it too 💜

Sue RN

Thank you for this, I came to say the same thing! Yoongi is such a lover of big, cinematic scores in the music he produces but he is able to masterfully blend it into modern pop, hip hop, R&B style music and I love that about him. I agree that I believe it’s Mr. Sakamoto’s influence at work from Yoongi’s childhood days. He just loves and appreciates music in all forms and I respect him so much for that. Incredible artist. Woosung’s hauntingly beautiful vocals are a perfect fit for this song. 💜

ali yana

They're going to play his finale from his concert Dday in theaters this April. They will be adding in appearances from Jimin, JK, and RM. Just putting it out there in case you want to see it.

Lenny Merlenna

This brings back memories when I attended his concert.. I couldn't stay dry eye throughout the performance. At that point, I didn't need to understand his lyrics but I felt all that raw emotions he's putting out. I still couldn't believe I was watching 1/7 of my favourite people performing right before my eyes.. I guess, the overwhelming feeling of missing them so much, seeing Yoongi IRL, and hearing this song.. it all adds up to a non-stop waterfall on may part..

jordyn perry

This song is one of my favorites. D-day album is seriously one of the greatest albums I have heard in my life. I still gets chills listening to it and I'm instantly transported back to his concerts. It's like I can feel/smell the fog or mist from the stage 🥺.

Kaylie .

I've always loved this song but listening to it again with you guys and hearing you point out all the strings, base and the different musical sides of it really made me appreciate and love the song even more. Love that you guys talk about what you notice about the song that I didn't notice before. Keep it up. :)

Ivy

Another addendum ☺️. I think one of the reasons why you like piano/keyboards arrangement here is that 1) it was made by the legend Ryuichi Sakamoto 2) Ryuichi explained why he loves choosing certain chords because he loves to add texture and dissonance 3) The dissonance in keyboards is haunting 4) Match it with Woosungs haunting voice and Yoongi’s rawness is perfect! 💜

Valeria Acosta delgado

I hope u can watch the live performance of dday tour seoul

jin's dangly earring

i wanted to comment after finishing watching yalls reaction but i was too busy crying because i kept thinking about his final d-day performance ;u; anyway i love this song also i think yall will enjoy Interlude: Dawn (also from D-Day album) a lot when yall get to it

Laura Hardie

Woosung has one of my favorite voices from the Korean music scene. When I saw they had a collaboration, I was so excited. Almost as excited as I would be if we got a Yoonmin sub-unit song lol

butter croissant

I recently became a fan of The Rose, I really like their sound in Back to Me, more of a rock feel

Glorevi Abellera

This is one of my favorite song of Yoongi.

Adrcp

Guys, if you want to listen to more really good music listen to Woosung's music with his group The Rose. It's K-PopRock --keyboard, guitar, bass and drums. Woosung made a joke once at one of the their concerts that he got a bigger response from the audience when he mentioned his friendship with Suga than they had gotten at any other point. "Remember whose concert you at", he said to the audience while laughing at them.

Just want to post an update...Mr. Ryuichi Sakamoto was included in last night's Oscar In Memoriam segment; so touching. I hope Yoongi saw it.

Michaela Rosková

This song is probably my favorite on the album. Woosung is an amazing vocalist and such a fun and unserious person just like his band The Rose. I saw The Rose live last week in Berlin and it was so much fun! Wish you could ive into their music someday!

Late add but yes Yoongi had long hair here. But also all of them did 🥰. Everybody during the hiatus grew their hair and they all looked good with it. Extra handsome Bangtan ♥️

So true. I saw them in Hamburg. It was an amazing concert and all the band members are so much fun and they sound amazing live.

Michaela Rosková

Nice! I also had a ticket to Hamburg but couldn't go. Yesterday, I almost bought a ticket for today's concert in Krakow but I didn't get a day off. I hope to see them on their next tour. I'll be forever grateful that they're touring EU since not many k-artists do so.

thanks for the great reaction ~ can't wait to hear your thoughts on his album when you guys get to it!

Michaela Rosková

They really the funniest. During q&a, we went from "what do u miss the most while on tour" to "what kind of nut are you?" lmao they loved it!

It's cut out from his documentary. In the documentary we get to see Yoongi go visit this pianist at his house. It's very special to watch. I highly recommend the documentary. I was able to understand him as a human being better. And it was great to see a healthy Yoongi. He had processed all his past into the past. We get to see him traveling. And enjoy traveling. He visits Halsey at her house. He visits the D.J. on "Mic Drop". He has the most amazing music studio I've ever seen. It's worth seeing the doc just to see that. I beg you... Please find and watch his concert version. It's his last day of his D-Day concert tour. He lives the song. Army sings for him when He cries. It's the most emotional performance of anyone I've ever seen on stage. Please. Please watch his final concert. It's so so good!!! Yoongi looks like a Rock Star.
