Good Morning CCW VIP PRIMOS!

Welcome back for episode 5 of Burn The Stage!

The guys continue their North American portion of the tour as they head to the Windy City! We enjoyed seeing them take some time off visiting the city as well 😊. We still don't know how they performed on that itty bitty stage though! 😬😅

Let us know your thoughts on today's reaction!

It’s always fun to start off my Wednesday with you guys 💜 My cowhfe “iykyk” is here, ready to check this episode out : )

Dani

I love Wednesdays 💜

claudia

11:19 the song is in fact 'Outro: Love is not over' and closes their album 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt1'

val

ITS CALLED OUTRO:LOVE IS NOT OVER ! i’m so happy bc that’s my comfort bts song and i’ve been patiently waiting for y’all’s reaction it, so it’s nice to see you guys get a little glimpse of it :)

Jenelle Edwards

İ was waiting for this.......😭😭 Don't worry I'm plotting how to get tickets to.....idk how it's gonna work out

lavinia roussel

The song in the beginning was the intro of I need u MV, that's why it sounded familiar :)

I am Vixen

There's always a chance to get tickets. You just need a bit of luck and a lot of strategies to get one. 💜

I am Vixen

And you need a REALLY GOOD internet connection to have a chance to get tickets. Don't get discouraged! 💜

Vanessa Ramirez

Best idea is to have multiple people trying for tickets. My sister and I were total noobs and got tickets to PTD and the AGUSTD tour. You got this! Keep an eye out for people that have tips to be best prepared. We already have our four man ticket team ready for when they comeback 🤣 I love all of the docuseries and movies gives so much insight and appreciation for them as people and as a group. Your reactions and excitement always make these a fun watch.

Latifa Anisa

That cool hiphop kinda song when the rapline appears was called cypher pt 4, you guys can react to cypher from pt 1 until pt 4. Btw my favourite cypher is pt 3 and 4 😊💜

Dream

12 hotdogs were prob for the entire group that went out to aquarium that day, 4 BTS members, their filming crew and security team. You will see this on other docu/bon voyage series too. They always buy their staffs meals, drinks, snacks, even matching clothes and souvenirs like besties 🥹

Neringa

Most of us couldn't get in Stationhead with Jungkook yesterday. Those tickets be purplebath.

Jas

Amazing episode 💜💜💜 thank you ccw 💜💜💜

Bun_s_life

I believe you were talking about Sagrada Familia (the cathedral that is being build for decades). I haven't seen it irl but my husband did, Barcelona is his favourite city and we plan to visit it thoroughly someday! It's a great city, truly. Beautiful place, with lots of history (well like whole Europe basically lol) and nice people.

J.N

Does anyone know why “Begin” wasn’t playing at the end when jungkook was talking during his segment?

J.N

Same I can’t choose between part 3 or 4 lol they both have me lit though

Bun_s_life

Tickets for concerts in 2025...? That's a dream of all Armys and well... There is gonna be a purple-bloodbath lmao. We are always very lovely, understanding, kind and open-minded but for tickets to BTS concert it's every man for himself. And I can't even say "good luck" to you because it would be insincere lol

Thayná Vieira

I love your reaction every time Taejin shows up together after the fight episode. It's hilarious! hahaha

Alwena Willis

Positive thinking Abbey! You tell yourself you will get tickets, if you tell yourself you won’t, you won’t! You need to be Army members to get the best opportunity and if you can get family and friends involved that might help. Get them to become members as well! I hope to watch your review of a concert in a couple of years time. I think this episode was just before their Hawaii trip. Thanks for the review, I will be in Seoul in 5 weeks time watching you from my hotel room there which will be awesome! 💜💜💜💜

Lisa M T

This is such a great series. Thanks

Charmaine Flynn

FYI.. they went to Hawaii for Bon Voyage after the CA leg of this concert (the last part of this episode). Also, their medical staff usually gives them a spray of Propolis Throat Spray. It has a lot of benefits - among them soothing scratchy throat. It supposedly also has some other things like antioxidants, B vitamins, etc

Joy

The song in the beginning is called love is not over, I believe it’s written by Jungkook

Joy

U should react to their cyphers, esp the one they played here, cypher pt4

J.N

That’s why I’m asking lol I wanna know because it kinda irked me a little. The song just enhances that scene for me every time I watch this episode idk. It’s not a big deal though i was just curious why it’s not there

Wendy Vogel

I look forward to every Wednesday, love watching this series with you. I really hope you all get tickets in 2525 for their concert. There are some good videos, with a lot of good tips on how to get tickets. xCeleste made one on how she got tickets for the Map of the Soul concert. 💜💜💜💜

Dhanya

It was one of the Cyphers that the Rap team performed.. You guys still haven't covered their rap songs & have only done songs by the vocalists. Hoping you will cover cypher 1-4 & Ddaeng in the coming days to understand their lyricism & the contribution to the group.

The Chicago date of the Wings tour was my first BTS concert! I was supposed to attend the final 2 dates of the HYYH (Most Beautiful Moment in Life) tour in August 2016 in Tokyo but I got accepted to undergrad in the US and had to give up my tickets to be at school by then. :( The only time I’ve EVER been truly lucky is when BTS announced the Wings tour dates and I found out they would have ONE show in the city I’d matriculated to- Chicago! Having a K-pop act perform a show at all in Chicago was something only the biggest groups did; most only had shows in New York and the west coast at this time; maybe they’d perform somewhere else as part of a K-pop convention or festival with other acts. No K-pop group had performed at an arena capacity venue in Chicago, so BTS being there was a HUGE deal (and a big surprise to US Army when it was announced). Arguably, the two largest touring K-pop groups in 2016/2017 besides BTS were EXO and GOT7. When they came to Chicago, both groups performed solely at the Rosemont Theater, which has a capacity of a little more than 4K. To give you a better perspective on just how monumental this concert was, Allstate arena holds 18K as a concert venue normally. The concert was one of the highlights of my 1st year in the US and getting to meet other Army while so far from home was such a blessing as I was dealing with both culture shock and homesickness at the time. I was in awe how much success BTS was achieving outside of Asia as evidenced by the “huge” venue. This concert is the moment when I knew they’d be around for a long time and that I was in this BTS “thing” for life (trying to keep it PG, lol). Anyway, cut to 2023, after attending 8 much larger BTS concerts (two at Soldier field in Chicago!): Suga announces 3 solo concerts at that same Allstate Arena. I’m lucky enough to get tickets. In opposition to my first concert, I’m now amazed at the “intimate gathering” between Suga and Army at the arena. The “small” venue transforms the concert into a confidential fan club party. Funny how my perspective changed so much on the same building from 2017 to 2023. It’s an indication of how inconceivable BTS’ growth has been during the past 7 years. I kept remembering how I was in awe back in 2017 at how big this group had gotten outside of Asia. This documentary series does an excellent job showing how huge a deal all this was for 7 boys from a tiny Asian country. The absolute insanity of that period in time; how out of their depth everything was for them; the burdens they began to feel because they were being thrust into the role of representatives of their country and culture worldwide. Frequently, I wonder about how unprepared even their staff must have felt for their success. The members and the company had NO ONE to turn to for advice during this because no one else had experienced it before. Any playbook they could glean information from was mostly useless because the playing field for a foreign act in the western market was invariably different compared to how similarly successful American artists “played the game”. As Army, we like to talk about how BTS paved the way; sometimes, I think we forget how difficult and overwhelming an endeavor it must have been to plan the path, find the materials, and construct the roadway all by themselves. And they couldn’t even copy any other roadmaps because the terrain they were traveling no else had before. (Tbh, they’re also still the ones having to continuously repair and fix the “potholes” to this day :/ ). I love how this docu-series gives us glimpses into what that felt like for them. I’m looking forward to revisiting this section of BTS history with CCW. Oh, btw, all the Army I met in 2023 at the concerts were just as lovely and passionate as the ones I met in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022- that BTS has fostered such a loyal and genuine fan base is (imo) one of their most impressive accomplishments.

Wasan Bakhsh

I was waiting for there reaction to ‘begin’ by jungkook but I was surprised when I didn’t heard it 🥲 So please I recommend so many jungkook’s songs like(still with you, begin ,stay alive… and more) so please try to react to more songs for jk because you will definitely like them especially ‘still with you’

minttu

not that it matters but the 12 hotdogs was for them and the staff, you missed the subtitles when you were figuring out who stayed back😂

Cathy

The song in the beginning was Love Is Not Over, which is one of my all time favorite BTS song. I think you guys will really like this one. As far as BTS tickets, I suggest you each get an ARMY membership, which you can buy on Weverse. This will increase your chance at buying tickets at presale. Ticketmaster will randomly choose who gets a presale code and most tickets will be sold out at presale. Next time Hybe announces a tour, I highly suggest watching a YouTube tutorial to prepare because it can be very nerve wrecking! LOL

Charlotte

I was going to surprise my daughter with a trip to London and the BTS concert at Wembley in 2019 since she had achieved such good results at school. I knew it was going to be difficult to get tickets, but I assumed I would manage if I was well prepared. Wembey Stadium has a capacity of 90,000 spectators. I was ready an hour before the start of the sale and used 3 different devises. But to no use! It is not possible to secure tickets. The system crashed. Then they added a new date, but it didn't go any better then either. Read later that there had been 250,000 people inside at the same time trying to buy tickets. I finally managed to get tickets on resale at a higher price. But don't regret it! We got very good seats and this was the night when the audience surprised BTS by singing Forever Young. Fantastic memory and my daughter was very happy!

Anj08@Hopeonthestreet

Hope you can react to Cypher medley live performance , Ugh and Ddaeng of the Rapline, you will understand and appreciate the lyricism and pure talent of these amazing trio

IDEA Girl

S. B. Ski Banter. Can you share with us where you ski? I had an idyllic childhood for awhile. We lived in Colorado near ski slopes while in my teens. So our first Christmas we all got outfitted for skiing. Beginner lessons every Saturday . There was even an after school bus to the slopes. So on Friday's we'd go and stay and ski at night under the lights. Cold, but so fun. Oh, yes. I had hard falls too. One time I caught my tip. Went rolling down the mountain. Saved by emergency sled. They tied me in...head going down the slopes. Scariest ride ever. Nothing broken. Major torn ligament. Cast for 6 weeks. Then tried out for cheerleader. Made it.

Natalie lynna

I was at suga tour in the VIP PIT !! THE BEST!!! This man might be skinny but he is STRONG!! Live all 2 hr. Low key by 1h30 min i was like i need him to talk so I chill a bit but he still going strong 😂😂 I been through so much to get the ticket and it worth it all the ways. When BTS COMEBACK, i am ready to fight for that ticket

IDEA Girl

Great story. How special. That memory. Forever Young. So happy you got to go.

IDEA Girl

Reminder. If you register CCW as a business ...any camera, any equipment, any supplies, anything for that BTS YouTube room is a tax write-off!!! Even snacks. Not kidding. Anything. Tickets to shows. Travel. All expensives!

graxiellaxxi

You guys should see a clip of Seokjin skiing. If it wasn’t for his friends posting it back then, ARMYs would have never seen how good he really is.

IDEA Girl

Agree. He snowboarded. Didn't he? Did they ever ski together?

IDEA Girl

Jin was in line for the Hot uh Dogs in Chicago. I had told you about cancelled concerts before. Others had these panic attacks too. I won't say who. It will be revealed at some time. The pressure was Too Much. They got famous too fast. Read the book. They worked so hard. 7 days a week. No days to rest their mind and body. Jin said he was too tired to stop and think about the anxiety. You like personal stuff. Get the audio book for $14.95 on Google Play. Listen together. Or with us on Patreon. It is filled with info starting in Chapter 1 that no one ever discussed before. Near Bankrupcy? The decision about the boy's living situation? It shocked me. It shocked the boys! All new info that Army doesn't know because they didn't tell anyone. Every chapter is full of "Secrets". New York? London? Chicago. In the first shot. The Elevated Trains. The L. They don't have subways . The next shot with the clock tower is the famous Wrigley building. Of Wrigley gum fame. And of Wrigley Field fame. Random trivia. On St. Patrick's Day they dye the river a bright green. RM visited the famous Chicago Art Museum. He was doing music for work. Then music for a hobby. He decided he needed balance. Art. Art Museums. It IS one of the best. I've been there many times! I live near Chicago. If you come up, I'll take you on a tour. Deep dish pizza a MUST. The boys fell in love with it. And the special Delicious Hot uh Dogs. They steam the Poppy seed buns. 100% beef huge hot dog. In Chicago they put on Mustard. But I don't. I'm a ketchup and mayo girl. Bright green dyed relish. Four segments of sliced tomato. Special crisp kosher dill pickles spears you can only get at a deli. And lastly sport peppers. I take mine off. The combo of each bite is Delicious. First time I had one at Wrigley Field. I immediately ordered another one. They melt in your mouth. And you don't have to get out of your seat to get another one. They still sell them the old fashioned way. Vendors going up and down the stairs and aisles!

VALERIE MORAN

Where'd you guys go skiing idm if I caught you say where. Haven't been in a while but I love it (I'm not good but I've loved it since I was a kid and don't go often enough to get good lol)

Tanya perez

This was at a time when the members were getting death threats or threats of being harmed. RM had gotten one so one of their performances was actually canceled. After that he went through a tough time of not enjoying the stage and performing for a while.

Itami

the first song u guys were vining to with jungkook's voice is actually the first song JK wrote that was made public and released on their album, it was a big moment for him. It is called "Love is not Over" and is in their "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt1" album

ali yana

Getting tickets is really pure luck. It’s a lottery. For Dday I didn’t get an invite after signing up but my friend did so she was lucky enough to buy tickets for both of us for both NY shows and one was for VIP. We ended buying resale for NJ but worth every penny. It’s good to sign up in different cities too since some are more in demand than others. if you really want to go, you might have to buy resale as a backup plan. Don’t worry about where the seats are since there’s no bad seats in a BTS concert.

ali yana

Also I think max tickets you can buy per person is 4 so works out for all of you.

lucy

Actually I noticed a LOT of parts of the background songs in Burn the stage have changed, not just that. It's really bugging me every time I watch this series lol Idk why they changed them. I clearly remember the musics were in place when it was first released, but soon after they all are suddenly replaced with different songs. And obviously it made the show awkward cuz it isn't what was originally meant to be. It doesn't match with the scenes at all. I really really don't like it cuz it kinda affects your immersion level and more importantly narrative of the documentary😩 I will never understand their choice.

moonie εïз

i think you got the timeline wrong. they did get dt during the wings tour but they didn’t cancel any concerts, they upped security but didn’t cancel. however during the red bullet tour 2 years before they cancelled something bc namjoon was getting dt.

moonie εïз

good luck w future ticketing!! you have some time to learn. getting tickets for bts is already difficult i’m genuinely scared for their comeback tour 😭😭 it’s gonna be terrifying

Derrika Clements

I had to buy a resale for agustd in Chicago but it was so worth it and hopefully I won’t have to but if I have to do it for their comeback tour I definitely will.

Maritza Islas

I just saw Yoongi at that venue. Met someone in line who got to see the Wings Tour. Wish I couldve gone at during that tour. Wish I knew them then for that matter.

Tanya perez

Your right and I do remember during their Love Yourself Tour, Jimin getting a threat when they performed in Dallas Forthworth Texas and Jimin didn't want them to worry. Some people are just awful.

IDEA Girl

JK was picked to go to CA with the choreographer to learn new hip hop dances. Why did they pick only one? You'll have to read the book. JK fell on love with dancing. He came back and told Jimin he was going to quit BTS and be the choreographer's assistant. Then later be just a dancer and choreographer. It's true. Jimin talked him out of it. And it true. JK did not know he had an amazing lead singer voice. He had No idea he had a God given talent. They assigned him and Jin a vocal teacher. Why only 2? Again, read the book. Jimin never got voice lessons. He would go outside the door and listen in to try and learn. JK had no skill at teaching Jimin voice lessons. Jimin's self confidence about his singing was because mgmt never patted him on the back. Never gave him positive or constructive critiques. He laments his poor quality singing in a Vlive. He said. I guess I'll just keep practicing on my own. He did. And he created a beautiful voice. He just now is taking voice lessons. True.

Maritza Islas

I always think back to what Bang PD said in I believe the film version of this doc. This isnt the correct quote but he just spoked to them one one one and said he hopes that they continue to enjoy music and love music and to remember how great their fans are. That he worried they would end up miserable but he just hopes they remain happy. I always remember that moment and I hope they do too.

IDEA Girl

People video themselves at the computer waiting online to buy tickets. Documenting how crazy it is. Then when they get the opportunity to buy some tickets it doesn't matter what seats or where. Just as long as they are in the arena. Then they film themselves going berserk and crazy and bonkers after they buy them. A whole big celebration takes place. Some even live stream the big event. Then there are videos of how to travel, what to bring. And when to go stand in line to get in. The line to get merch is hours and hours long. XCeleste purchased an Army bomb at the arena. But didn't realize they don't come with batteries. So the zoom out of the arena to find a store in the midst of all the concert traffic is crazy. They find Target and buy The Last batteries on the shelf. Rush back. Rush to get in line to get in. They still have to go through security. They start running the wrong way to their seats. But find the right way. Literally running, and if I remember right, they walked in on the first song. So did lots of other people. She said don't wear high heels. Because you will end up running. Try to find a restaurant after the concert to eat. Impossible. Hit up a 7/11 miles away!

L

That was such a great scene. I really hope they watch the burn the stage movie as well and not assume it's just going to more of the same and that just watching the series is enough because it's definitely not! So many things worth seeing including this!

L

Ticketing is totally possible but you need to be prepared and strategize! All four of you will need to sign up for army membership to get access to army presale. If you're lucky, all four of you will get an access code (randomized). For ticketmaster, you can enter the waiting room for all the concert dates going on in the US at the same time. Just buy tickets for the first city that gets you through the queue. Don't dither about your seat. Click four and go! If possible, it's absolutely worth going to more than one date. It's a lot to take in so you won't regret going more than once to do so. Especially since you guys will likely do a vlog for one of the days for your channel which we'll love but it'll be distracting for you as a concert goer. Anyhow, when the time comes, primos will help you. It's doable but just plan ahead and research! Good luck!!

L

Oh another thing you might want to consider is renting out a suite with the stadium they are performing at. As soon as venue/dates are announced, you can contact the stadium directly and inquire about renting a suite. It'll be ballpark about $10k-15k for 16-24 seats (huge variability between suite types and venues). Often includes parking, special entrance, food, drinks etc. It sounds pricey but it's comparable to soundcheck tickets and the experience is amazing and you don't have to battle it out on ticketmaster. You can also do a CCW giveaway for the extra seats and it'll be a big primo party or just sell the seats. Lol. I did a suite for PTD in LA and it was amazing and I met so many great armys from around the world. Definitely something to consider!

Velle

Right! I went to see Yoongi and his endurance is crazy, especially having to perform alone and still keeping the same energy from start to finish. They are true performers

Thea

Whether or not you get waitlisted for tickets is based on lottery, so it doesn’t matter if you signed up for the membership last minute! I was waitlisted for yoongi’s concert and I bought the membership when it first came out a few years ago! Atp, with the war that it is to get tickets, I’m also saving up money starting now until their comeback tour in the event that I have to buy resale (and a lot of times I do 😭) bc I plan on going to multiple shows and their resale price is high 😩. Just as a plan B for you guys! They’ve also, for the PTD concerts, rented out a theater near the stadium where they live stream the concert and soundcheck at the same time on a big screen called the live play and you can buy tickets for that if you can’t get into the actual concert venue. Idk if they’ll do that for the comeback tour but it’s also another option, if they do! I’ve seen videos on tiktok of the live play and it was so awesome & looked so fun! Wishing you guys all the luck for their comeback tour though bc I really want y’all to experience the life changing experience that is a BTS concert and I hope y’all get to go to multiple dates!! 🥰

magicjean

True, Stationhead crashed! I could imagine the next BTS world tour will be insane!

Luz Perez

Yes it's so hard to get tickets. I was able to go to their ptd concert in Las Vegas but I couldn't go to yoongis tour, the tickets sold out so fast. The lines are crazy for merch. You have to walk a lot, and unfortunately I didn't realize this and I wore heels. But I think the army bombs come with batteries now. I bought mine at the Las Vegas show and the people behind the booth set it up for me.

Deejay

I never get anxiety or nervous like that. And I’m the type that don’t sweat easily either but when it comes to BTS Tickets or merch drops …. GAME OVER!!!! Anxiety hits and I’m drenched and so nervous 😩 my heart won’t stop pounding and thousands of butterflies in my tummy 😭😭😭

Ali

If all 4 of you get Army memberships and try for tickets, the likelihood you won’t get any is pretty small, imo. My best piece of advice is to follow the Army fanbases on twitter for the country/countries which you are trying to get tickets. Once a tour is announced, they will post guides and tips about particular venues, which is super helpful. There are a lot of twitter Armys also who post methods they’ve used successfully including video guides and reminders for things you might overlook. The few times I’ve purchased 4 tickets, I found it easier to get seats if I try for 2 together in one row with 2 more behind/in front/diagonally near to them. Trying to get 4 in a row can be difficult. Also, avoiding the front of sections and aisle seats make it easier to get seats as a lot of people attempt those first.

Nadia Shaik

Gaudi, the famous Spanish designer and architect. Yep, his stuff was amazing and inspiring. And La Sagrada Familia, the unfinished church.

Madison

In terms of buying tickets, it really is strategic. One of the main things I have learned is: never go for the obvious choices. People tend to hurriedly try to grab aisle or front row seats, which ofc would be amazing, but the likelihood of getting them is slim. Also, thinking literally: floor seats are great...when the people around you are as well. I got floor seats once, and yea I could see (at times) but unless you're directly by the stage, trust me its not worth it really. Any seat is amazing obviously, but comfort/convenience is the best. Also, if you're going with other people, I'd advise getting seated like divided in the front & back, just because its hard getting side by side tickets, especially now. The 2 floor is usually where I try to aim for when it comes to concerts, and then all you need then is a good charged phone, WITH STORAGE lol.

Rae Avilez

Abby girl!!!!! I am with you!!!! Seoul it is!!!! Let's go! And actually they have had overflows recently so that is always a possiblity. And some scaplers finally give up on those unbelievably high prices and you can get some half way decent ones the day of the concert. There are lots of ways, trust that your peeps will find a way lol!

J.N

Oh really? What other songs was changed

Bells

I´m so nervour for the tickets! Here in latin america I believe the ticketing is different and I have NO clue how is it! I guess I have still 2-3 years to figure it out

Aly

Yay! Thank you for another great reaction, guys! It might initially seem a little dramatic to say BTS is the reason to get up in the morning but when I was going through my toughest time of anxiety and depression, sometimes the only way I got things done was by literally saying to myself “if BTS can work hard and through being tired, then I can get dressed and go to work.”

Armystic

As a Los Angeles native… California gets hot af lmao it’s not typically humid hot… but the last couple years with global warming.. now all of a sudden we have humidity… had a hurricane last week lol but social def gets HOT

Armystic

Boys… love you guys… but we don’t talk while any of our boys is blessing us with raw acapella vocals… that is all. Keep up the great work… y’all are the best! Love all 4 of you wonderful humans!!! Anfobangfo

Anthony

💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Anthony

It's always a fire for BTS concerts. The last one me and my kids saw was the one in Metlife New Jersey in 2019. Then was able to purchase again tickets for their 2020 concert but sad they had to cancel and refund all tickets due to covid.

lucy

I can't really say it because there are just too many lol literally 70 percent of the songs has replaced. they changed almost every songs for opening sequences of the show and some of the member's personal segment. I really don't know why🤷🏻‍♀️

Desiree Mensah

Does CCW have an award show schedule? I think they would enjoy watching those performances and behind the scenes as they can see them sort of interact with other celebrities/k-pop artist. Reacting to their v-lives (weverse lives) after the shows is also fun too

Cherie Partin

not gonna lie you might want to sign up for the fanclub membership it will be easier to get tickets(not much lol) since they normally open that up a day earlier and sell out before the general public can even get them, it happened for the PTD concerts lol

Nicole

Shoutout to Gabriel's energy drink. Those are crack for me lol

Ray

Can't wait for yall to continue on with the rest of the documentaries and truly see the growth throughout the years!

YJ

when will you guys react to in the soop? i miss them and their chaotic:')

sandy

they're going in chronological order so bon voyage then in the soop!

PurpleRibbonARMY

I haven't seen anyone commenting about the situation with the tiny stage in Chicago, so here goes a story from a 7-year ARMY veteran, LOL! At the time of this Wings tour, BTS was not connected to a major US label at all yet, and their only representative in the US was this absolute slimy snake named Eshy Gazit. He handled their promo so, SO badly, treated the members like they weren't even people, and constantly threw them into situations in the US where they had no idea what they were walking into and had zero time to prep. He basically abused the members by sending them into so many horrifically racist scenarios one after another. He's the one who threw them into their first press junket in the US that was hours long with NO prep time, so RM had to do the whole thing off the cuff IN ENGLISH. It's honestly a miracle they succeeded anyway. And he's the one who scheduled them to perform in that venue with the TINY stage, without telling them what they were walking into at all. At the time, it was so unusual for any K-pop group to be getting that much attention in the US, so Big Hit wasn't knowledgeable about how to navigate the US industry AT ALL. They were clueless. And Eshy was basically trying to hitch his wagon to a star. He went too far, though, because when BTS won their first Billboard Music Award in 2017 he WENT ON STAGE with them as if he was taking credit, which was totally insane. Just a few months later it was announced that Big Hit had ended their contract with him and obtained new, much better representation. Eshy still tries to take credit for BTS's success, and managed to convince a different Korean company to let him represent their group in the US - a group which crashed and burned here so badly that it no longer even really exists. He was one of the first people to make the huge mistake of thinking they had cracked the code to "the next BTS", a mistake too many people are still making now, even though literally no one has managed to even come close to reaching BTS's popularity. 2017 was my year to really go deep as an ARMY, and it was totally unforgettable!!!! 💜

카리

the spray the staff gave them is propolis. it helps with inflammation and mouth sores and also builds immune system

Sandy Matias

Oh, this is bringing back happy memories for me, as I was at their Chicago Wings Tour Concert! :) My very first BTS concert I went to!

Ruth

ah good luck for ur future ticket wars! imo don’t worry too much about trying to get into the war, maybe u would be blessed with beginner’s luck 😂 (i’m a baby army but somehow managed to get a ticket to an agust d concert on first try, while my longtime army bestie failed several times). also, a tip: try to sign up for the army membership on weverse so u’ll get much more chance to get one. there’re still 2 more years to learn the strategies so… hwaiting! i do really hope that u’ll be able to see them live 🥰 hope we ALL will!

korgi

y'all talking about skiing and idk if you knew but seokjin snowboards there's a video of him snowboarding here's the link! :) https://youtu.be/UgXrQax6xDw?si=-pDcOwUNd9koKzGv it's two short videos, the rest of the video repeats the to videos just to let you know :)

You guys are true ARMY now. 😂 The struggle you will endure with the rest of us in 2025/26

I've seen ARMYs posting pics and videos of them sitting outside BTS concert venues and vibing together.

Getting tickets is only super stressful for people who refuse to sit in the 100s and up. I have gotten tickets from Stubhub and Vivid Seats for a great price, so the key is not to give up just because you didn't get tickets on Ticketmaster. `Also, just have your payment method saved and use laptops instead of phones. When the manager said he needed their approval he was talking about them signing off on the final footage that would be aired. The members were stressed because the stage was too small to accommodate their choreo, but this would be their first U.S. T V performance. They didn't want their performance to look bad, because as Suga said, the audience doesn't know that the stage is too small, they just see a poor performance. Since the venue wouldn't allow them to change the stage, their staff got the venue to agree to let the members sign off on the final footage, and not air footage they weren't happy with.

That is their norm now, but since they were just starting to make waves in the US at this point, that wasn't a given.

I traveled from Nashville to LAX to see my first concert “WINGS”. It was easier then, I had the hardest time for ON:E,ended up being cancelled because of COVID. it’s still difficult but, know where you want to sit otherwise you end up in “Nosebleed”. The best so far was LYS LOVE YOURSELF 2019. My favorite by far.

Who came here to see if Daniel was right? Hahaha about the album review. Lol
