I have perfect pitch, but not a lot of musical training. So for the longest time I thought everyone could just know what notes were and that led to a lot of confusion on my part about how people approached playing instruments.

If you remember episode 1 of Bon Voyage season 2, they were already in LA after finishing their last concert of their American leg of the Wings tour and you guys had that whole debate about whether they were going to Hawaii directly or if they were going back to Korea first xD So Bon Boyage happens somewhere in the middle of this documentary since the Wings tour lasted from February to December 2017 (with some breaks in between of course), it's just that they released Bon Voyage S2 first and this came out in 2018

I think what Daniel was talking about for people who can "see" music (or notes or chords) into different representations like colour (or any type of physical manifestation) and can instantaneously recognize them, is called synesthesia. (maybe?) - quite an interesting topic. It is really rare, what I learned from my art history class was that if you see Kandinsky's works, he does see musical notes as colours - then he transforms what he see and apply it into his art - it's quite abstract and constructive almost. :)

I'm also the type to avoid conflicts. I shut down, get quiet, run away etc. It's a bit of a mental-invoked problem on my part but also due to my calm nature. It can often get in the way of building relationships but I believe it to be better for the world than getting the anger woke the worst in me. I think it's nice you have such balance in your relationships. You can meet in the middle :)

Guys, I have been excited for watching Burn The Stage again with you since last week, and as always, your reaction and discussion are always so fun to watch :) Here's some information based on your curiosity in the video: - Each member had solo songs in the Wings album (RM: reflection, Jin: Awake, Suga: First Love, JHope: MAMA, Jimin: Lie, V: Stigma, JK: Begin) - The song performed by the rap line when they wearing red outer was Cypher pt 4 - The song at the end was Outro: Wings (you got it right, Daniel~!) it is a great song! - About the conflict, yes, they will show us in this documentary, and they also showed us how they overcome/ manage their conflict as a group and individual p.s I understand about having difficulties focusing on both music and text, so as a suggestion, probably you could rewind a bit after enjoying the music to read their interview. but, it's just a suggestion, I enjoyed your reaction anyway. Thank you for continuing this journey with us :)

The type of Synesthesia you were referring to is called Color-Sound Synesthesia and is the rarest type. I have the Color-Grapheme type. Still rare, but not as much as the sound type.

Ehem, first things first, the expression "Shake and bake" FIRST came from a product in the 60s called "Shake n' Bake" from Kraft foods. What you're describing with the sound/color link is synaesthesia! Random fact: the composer for game of thrones (Ramin djawadi) has synaesthesia. There was on army on reddit not too long ago who has synaethesia and she offered to describe what bts songs look like to her. If you guys get hooked and want to watch continuously haha why not try 2 burn the stage episodes and release 2 each week in one video? Believe me theres still sooooo much content out there, old and new, so many documentaries to go through, original and fanmade, so many mvs, 154 run bts episodes and fanmade compilation videos that are so funny and enjoyable. So I guess it’s fine if you want/can speed things up out of curiosity. However, if it’s because of time constriction ‘cause you obviously have a life 😅then take your time😬🤭Anyway I always love these. ¡Gracias primos!

Well Burn the Stage replaced Bon Voyage which was probably double the time for one episode. And album reviews replaced Rise of Bangtan which was also 30-40mins. So I don’t think is unreasonable for people to request 2 episodes together. Whether they do it or not, thats up to them anyways

I've seen quite a few reactors get burned out and have to take a step back to rest and recoup. I would hate for that to happen to CCW. What they are doing now is great. And their admin already told us they would be doing all the member's Suchwita episodes so have faith and patience! 😊

I mean with the intro and outro lengths we definitely could have watched the second episode here as well lmao but the ccw fight talk was very funny lol feel like I can relate to Daniel hiding behind the couch during a fight and gabe hiding under the blanket on the couch. The whole “if I can’t see them, they’ll never know I’m here technique” 😂 very hilarious… also I cracked up when summer said “I’ll be yelling and turn around and I’m like ‘where did you go’” 🙃 you guys are too funny and too cute. I feel you Abby… we hate to see them cry, hurt, or sick… but it just builds the respect we already have for them up to another level. Our boys are true professionals in every way of the word, they’re human and we love them for it 💜 can’t wait to watch the 2nd episode with you guys !

Please watch the Suchwita w jungkook episode… they even posted an extra clip of jungkook singing karaoke that will blow your mind!!! Lol the rm episode is amazing with tons of precious moments, the Jin episode with a special guest was special and filled with beautiful moments, then the hobi episode with all things we didn’t know about before he left for the military… we’re really so cute and memorable… each just such a pleasure to watch!! Jungkooks is just one of the lighter episodes that are just tons of fun and laughter… it was hilarious… not really spoiling anything for you at this point and the karaoke singing/rapping is so good… him and yoongi doing it together lol iconic!!

It's called Synesthesia, where you see color when you hear or taste something. I'm so glad you're starting this series. It really gives you a better appreciation for what goes on backstage during their concerts. They work so hard. Some of it will be hard to watch, because once you start to care for these boys, you don't want to see them in pain or doubting themselves. But it's important to see and they were so brave to put this out there. You're correct that it was V and Jimin who had the dumpling incident. And there's actually two songs that came out of it. 'Friends' is one of them, but before that, V wrote a song called '4 O'Clock', that he sang with RM, that was written for Jimin and the time they reconciled after the fight. It's areally beautiful song, and even more beautiful once you learn the backstory.

That's so fascinating! I'm not sure what the term is (I'm trained in piano, but not vocally trained), but I have like perfect pitch recall? Like JK, I remember exactly how to sing a song in its original key. But– I don't know what the key is called. Likewise, I can't hear someone "clink" a glass and know what the note is. Out of curiousity, do you know what this skill is called? Or is it nothing special and just someone who remembers how songs sound + isn't pitchy? LOL

Yes, synesthesia! I have color-grapheme too. I grew up thinking the associations were normal but found out in college that's definitely not the case. I also have a friend with color-sound synesthesia, and he uses it to compose music. It's super cool

The dumpling incident may sound funny cause of the reason the fight started but actually it was at a time when v was struggling juggling both bts work and hwarang his drama shooting so it was really not just a small fight over just dumplings jungkook said that it became really a serious issue at that time even tho now they just joke about it since it was years back .

Without giving spoilers away: In BTS Burn the stage series, the episodes focused more on the hardships of going on tour and so on. While in the movie is definitely felt more lighthearted as in more jokes, more funny scenes, and new content they didn’t show in the series.

Apparently they added extra scenes and the overall editing is more lighthearted and funny compared to the series which focused more on the hardships they faced and the boys overcoming them.

I'm late to the party but I'm very excited to watch this with you. Even tho I've already seen it like 10 times haha Also, just a little fun fact, my ult group is Stray Kids and one of the members was one of the main backup dancers for BTS on this tour.
