How do you guys handle living in states that gets to 120 degrees 😭😨 And it’s no relief to go to the beach when the ocean water is also warm. You need the cold Pacific Ocean water from Hawaii and California to cool off but unfortunately beaches in Texas and Florida have warm sea water. However you guys are sitting in a room that looks and seem so comfortable and cool.

Hahah. “Jima” is basically “don’t”. Hajima actually (하지마) means “don’t do it/that”. Hence when they said ‘uljima’ (울지마) means ‘don’t cry’. Their grammar is opposite, subject first. Hope it makes sense 😅

When Jin started his show "Eat Jin" is when I really noticed the culturally different way they "take bites". They fill their mouth with as much food as possible then chew. And I've never heard anyone mention to them that Americans don't eat that way. Or that it would be impolite to eat that way at a dinner party or in public like at this Hawaiian buffet. Of course they are famous for eating Ramen. And they are so loud with their Slurping of the noodles trying to fill their mouth as much as possible. When I eat ramen I swirl my noodles around my fork and take small bites. You know. The same way you swirl your fork to eat spaghetti. NO slurping. And again, I've never heard mention that they've ever noticed they take bigger bites than Americans. Even with all their big bites I have never seen them choke on any Big Bites. They're kind of like squirrels. Filling their cheeks completely full before chewing. And they can pack away the food!

i thought yall would look it up considering how many koreans theyve run into in hawaii (not a coincidence) but hawaii has a decent korean population LOL i just googled it to get an exact number but apparently its more than 50,000 hawaii residents who identify as korean which is roughly 2% of koreans in the US. i think the japanese population is wayyyy higher. its 14% i think. the members speak japanese as well so thats also a win.

theres other asian ethnic groups like filipino (the largest i believe) and chinese but i only mentioned japanese and korean bc thats the languages they can speak. the members know a little chinese but not enough to ask for help i think

In Korean, -지마 "-Ji-ma" is basically an ending that is added onto a verb to say "Don't do that verb". So, the one you guys already know: 하지마 (ha-ji-ma), the stem 하 "ha" is from the verb "to do", so it means "Don't do that/Don't do it". But place "-ji-ma" after the stem of any other verb does the same thing. When they were telling JK not to cry, that verb is 울다 (ool-da), so it becomes 울지마 (ool-ji-ma). Don't eat - 먹지마 (mok-ji-ma). Don't throw that - 던지지마 (dohn-ji-ji-ma) Don't touch that - 만지지마 (man-ji-ji-ma) Don't run - 달리지마 (dal-li-ji-ma) {This is the verb that also makes up the name for Run BTS - 달려라 방탄 (dal-yeo-ra bang-tan), sometimes shortened to just the first syllable of each - 달방 (dal-bang). They all end in "ji-ma", saying "don't". I can't wait for you to see the finale. The final episodes are usually a bit longer because they always have the end-of-season interviews, like you saw in the last one. Reflecting on the trip and whatnot. I think you guys will really like it, and I recommend having some tissues nearby, just in case you get emotional. This is a really special last episode. I love your energy. I really enjoy your reactions every time.

I don't understand why people pay to sit in a sauna, I just don't get it. I walk outside the heat & the humidity just hits you like a wall. Stay too long & you're drenched.

Being able to see how they were years ago… ya know barely getting recognition for their hard work and dedication… but enough success to keep going… and when you watch them in more current content when they’re all together… honestly the bonds, the jokes, the love and authenticity is so obviously the same! That’s something that sets them apart for me.. like there’s tons of talented artists with come up stories… but I’ve never seen someone with a story like theirs who got to you know as high as you can go in the music world really and somehow have maintained that youthful energetic humble and genuine feel to them in everything they do. Like their bonds have evolved… but they’re still very much the same.. it’s very pure and real at their core… and seeing that stay over time is just beautiful to witness. I think you guys are starting to get there with loving BTS. It’s a beautiful journey to be a part of!!!

i live in southeast asia and here being loud while eating like them would be considered impolite too 😂 so does taking big bites while your mouth is still full. i initially thought that they eat like that cuz they're getting used to eat as fast and as much as possible, especially when they're still trainees and they practiced a lot, hence had little time to rest or eat. but i watched k-dramas and i saw the same eating habits were done, especially when the scene took place in an informal setting (eating alone or with friends or family members).

I work inbound Corporate incentive Tours out from Australia, it so happened I was at Kualoa (pronounced: Ku-Ah-Low-Ah) Ranch that day that BTS was there. I was on what they call Site Tour with my client, we heard about the Boys having been sighted on ATV’s, which was the Buzz in the Ranch Movie Tour Bus holding area. The Radio had mentioned they were spotted in town and HAWAII already having a strong Fan base for KPOP for a number of years. ARMIES Were on the lookout. I watched the BV S2 just after it aired, I realized I could have seen them if I knew, as I was so close, I rode the #1 bus to work each day, of hours earlier, JHope and Jin walked the two miles to their VRBO, right past my office where I worked.
