Welcome Back to Episode 05 of Bon Voyage! Hard to believe we are half way through S2 already.

Today's episode is just another average day for BTS! 😁 The guys split up again, we got more english speaking Tae, eating paste for lunch, and ending with a nice swim and some ping pong! What a great episode!

Members would sometimes post on weverse saying thank you to armys because there has been some scenarios before where armys have seen where they are during a personal trip but armys would not post their whereabouts until the members have gone back home to Korea out of respect to the members. It actually happened recently with Jimin when he visited a harry potter museum and an army was working there (I think) and she only posted that she saw jimin after Jimin had gone back home in Korea 💜💜💜

It also happened with Taehyung when he took a vacation in Hawaii but no one posted that he was there. And when he got back in Korea he posted in Weverse saying thank you to armys because they pretended that they did not know Taehyung so that he can enjoy his personal trip ☺️

I remember watching this episode as a European and being so frustrated on their behalf because WHY do they have multiple buses with the same numbers? just seems unnecessarily complicated for no reason, just like the tall grande venti cup names lmao

our rule as a fandom is if you see BTS in the wild, no you didn't. Alot of ARMYs who do see them do their best not to bother them and don't recount their stories until they are sure the boys have left the city/country. BTS may realise we recognise them but they always thank us for letting them have the time to themselves and pretending like we didnt know (aka not approaching them)

There are a lot of koreans living in Hawaii, that’s why they meet people that randomly speak Korean. They meet a few more in the future episodes too. J-hope and Jin didn’t go to starbucks because they didn’t wanna stop and they said they would rather just go eat at the house instead. Also Jin and J-hope got out of the bus because the point of the whole thing was to take different routes getting to the house. They weren’t supposed to get to the destination with any of the other groups, so they had to walk the rest of the way to avoid getting there together if that makes sense. When it comes to the not taking picture with fans thing, they are not allowed because sometimes people will upload their pictures online while they are there and it causes problems because then fans will find out where they are and go there while they’re there. If people knew where they were every place would be flocked with fans😂 So for safety reasons they don’t take pictures while doing shows and when they are on schedule. But most army’s are usually very respectful and don’t post anything about seeing them on travels until they are safely at home.

They very rarely take pics with fans. When JK was in Qatar...his mgmt and him went to the mall. They allowed JK to "close" the store just for him and his entourage to shop alone in the store. Some people noticed he was in there however, they didn't approach the windows. But 2 different children walked up to the door. I think he took his pic with them. I actually never seen them give an autograph. I've seen where they visited a restaurant and they all signed like a restaurant poster. And the owner posted that they ate there. One time JK had a sound system delivered and set up in his apartment. He signed an autograph for the tech's sister. Anyway, it's rare!!!

Summer being so worried about whether Jin and Hobi ever got to eat lunch 6 years ago in Hawaii gives such “Mom” energy. Lol. Great episode and reaction. It’s been fun getting to rewatch Bon Voyage with ya’ll.

It's a policy from the company for safety measures. But sometimes when they're in their free time they take pictures with fans. It happened to Jk (i don't remember the year). He was walking alone in Itaewon and some armys recognized him and since fans were respectful, jk took pictures with them. He also took pictures with fans in Qatar just the last year. But we armys have sort of a rule not to aproach them when we see them in their free time. For example when Tae went to Hawai with his family last year I think, he later posted on weverse thanking armys for respecting his privacy.

I love Jin and Jungkook’s dynamic together as the oldest and youngest. Forever the bickering partners. Add Jimin to the mix and the 3 are just chaotic😂

We armys have a sort of rule not to approach BTS when we see them in public, specially if it is not a public schedule of theirs. We have to like pretend like we don't know them or keep our distance when they are on their vacations

Normally when the boys are filming for a paid content like bon voyage, bighit doesn't allow them to take pictures with army. When they're not filming anything they can take pictures if they want, but we always had that "rule" of not approaching them in their private time, and pretending we didn't see them, so that they can feel comfortable, and also for safety measures.

Y’all know this was 6 years ago right? So Bts wasn’t the “Biggest band on the planet” Bts they are now lol they were internationally famous but not so much in Hawaii. You will see in more recent content literally everyone recognizing them.

Korean culture. Men usually wear shirts to swim. An early early video we see the members swim without shirts. They were probably in a different country is my guess. Also, very rarely do they take still shots shirtless . The last one I remember was a pic of Jin's back. He was showing off where he got his #7 tatoo. They all agreed to get a #7 tatoo. Only one we dont know where it's located - Suga Also, We very rarely see them in tank tops. Usually only on vacation. To lift their shirt at a concert...the crowd goes wild. Very rarely done too.

Summer don't feel bad about jin and hobi walked a long way instead of riding a bus. I think, jin and jhope walked because they don't get usually walk on the streets in korea without being free. If you noticed what they have said in once of the scene they felt nice walking on the street and they never thought they will be able to walk on the streets like that again. It was very tiring watching them walk but i know they enjoyed it even just for a little time of being free.

Hawaii has a lot of Korean tourists. It's in the middle of the pacific between the US and Korea, so it makes sense that they would run into a decent amount of people who speak Korean. The brackets are usually the text written on the screen, which yes, are usually editor's comments. BTS Editors are the greatest. So funny. They don't take pictures while they're filming, mostly because no one is supposed to know about it until the show airs. It's like when they travel places to film things, Filming sites are kept secret. Obviously, there will always be small leaks, but they try to keep it to a minimum. Outside of filming, when they're on their personal time, I think it's up to them if they want to take pictures with fans or not, but you can be sure that they are aware of the risks of doing so in a crowded area where, like you said, people can notice and mob them. I don't think anything stops them from doing that on their own time if they want to, I just think they tend not to, and most Armies know and try to respect that when they come across them.

But in Germany we also have buses with same number. They have the same starting point A and destination B. Whereas one starts from A to B and drives back from B to A, whereas the other one starts from B and gets to A and back to B. They both have the same numbers

Yeah of course that's normal, but it seemed that they had the same 19 number bus having two different routes starting from the same bus stop place outside the airport (as in one going from A to B and the other from A to C)

I am totally down for a CCW shirt that says "Oh this is patreon?" LOL And there are a lot of different nationalities all over Hawaii. You can find most languages. I counted 6 languages at the hotel on one of my visits lol! It is army protocol to not acknowledge the members when they are out and about. I was so proud of Mexican armys because we had no idea that V was in Mexico until after the show, Jinny's Kitchen was announced.

Creo que vi, sinceramente no estoy muy segura. Pero creo que la empresa dijo que no se pueden tomar fotos con las fans, o cualquier persona que los reconozca, por el simple hecho de que no sabemos sí aquella persona tiene buenas intenciones. Por ejemplo, imaginemos que Taehyung está en uno de sus días libres, y por casualidad en la calle se encuentra con una persona que lo reconoció y le pide una foto. Taehyung acepta, y a los días siguientes sale aquella persona comentando en redes que el artista Kim Taehyung intentó acosarlo. Por ende, ¿Cuáles son las pruebas de aquella acusación? Pues aquella foto que confirma que si estuvo con él, en aquel momento. En conclusión, nunca vamos a saber las intenciones de las personas. Quizás sean buenas, pero también pueden ser malas, y los afectados serían únicamente ellos. Por eso es que es una regla que sí o sí se debe cumplir, y eso va para todos los artistas de Hybe. Por cierto, los amo (┬┬﹏┬┬) Su manera sincera de reaccionar y opinar sobre los chicos, me encantó. Saludos desde Perú.

Gabe is correct about the pictures! If ppl post about them and where they are it puts not just them but anybody around them in danger and to avoid that… especially on a vacation like this … they do their best to stay off peoples radar. Respectful army will post pics of seeing them once BTS is gone from that area to keep them safe

they can not take pictures because at the time they are filming Bon Voyage, the official announcement of the new season of Bon Voyage is not out yet so as to not spoil what they doing or where they going as well as not to hinder the filming. but if they spotted BTS on their private vacation it is a common courtesy to let them have their private time. back in the day, some army that are lucky enough to encounter BTS in their daily life (not on vacation) can ask to get a picture or signature but nowadays it is hard to do that.
