Laughter is so precious and so healing. Without going into details the last 5 years of my life have been very challenging. I hadn't smiled or laughed for a long time then I found BTS. Then I began laughing to the depth of my soul. Joy returned to my heart and soul. Ironically, when everything is taken away...you discover you really have everything you need. God helped me realize that. So just so you know ya'll have also provided me with delight and dazzle. So BTS plus CCW has been a great "combo meal" for me! Who knew that people I've never met before have provided me with healthy mental health moments. Just know ...you are well loved. So your discovery of BTS and reacting to them fulfills a greater life purpose you never knew you would accomplish. Isn't life grand? If I was there I would buy you ice cream. Your fav of course!

2023-05-31 17:39:10 you guys seem to underestimate everyone else's english like assuming yoongi didn't understand what he was ordering but actually they all have basic understanding of english and can communicate. and a non-english speaker learning english is different from english speakers learning another language (as in they're surrounded by more people who speak english than we're surrounded by people who speak korean so they're able to pick up more stuff than we are). just wanted to let you know so that in future episodes or series when you come across them speaking english you would know that they actually understand more than you guys think they do, and that just because they don't have the same "american" accent as namjoon doesn't mean they can't understand or even communicate.

Good question about their vacations. In their 10 years. I think they got 3 real vacations. That's a guess. But I know they had very few. Christmas with family. I think maybe 3 times. They begged to go home Christmas during the first year of covid. They didn't let them go. Birthdays with family. As far as I know. Zero. They do vlives on their Birthdays sitting alone on a computer. Sometimes one of the members will come by and bring a cake. Or they had cake during the day in the middle of their busy schedule. I remember one time Jin waited up late on his Vlive, but no one came to see him. And no one texted him. He started calling the guys but no one came. In fact he called Suga to come see him and Suga said ..quit being a baby. It really hurt Jin's feelings so he called RM to get some comfort. I boohooed. No family or friends contacted him. He said I have no friends. And it was true. Being in BTS they are so isolated. Millions adore him, but he has no time for any personal relationships. They can't even date. None of them have any female friends. The female staff around them are required to be married so as to NOT flirt with the guys. When covid hit and they had free time, they had no idea what to do or how to be normal. Most of them got very depressed. So very sad to me.

So here is another thing to think about. It's Festa time. They will be celebrating 10 years together. On any other job...celebrating 10 years is special. But to BTS it represents working every day of the week. Working more than 8 hours a day. Many times they work all night when filming a MV. So mostly they put in 12 hours a day. So really they have put in 20 years of work in 10 years. Non stop work. The vacations they take together and film. Summer is right. They are still working. Being filmed almost 24 x 7. In fact...my opinion the filming is very intrusive when they film them going to bed.and in bed. Then they wake up with cameras in their faces. They are never off camera...ever! They are on a vacation structured schedule. They have to do what they are told. That's why when V was lost...he loved it. Freedom. Except yes, a cameraman was with him. Finally, this last Festa they announced they were taking a break. A break from a rigorous schedule. However, they didn't know how to slow down. They all have worked feverishly on their own solo projects. JHope said preparing for Lollapalooza almost killed him. He didn't eat. Couldn't sleep. Luckily, Jimin showed up and made him eat and sleep. Otherwise I really think JHope would have keeled over at his concert. There is a Behind the Scenes of Jimin preparing for filming Set Me Free and Like Crazy. He would come to dance rehearsal without eating and at the end of the all day dance practice he could hardly walk. In fact, he collapsed by a wall and said he was on zero. He couldn't sleep either. One good thing about their Military service...they get away from BTS and all the busyness. It's a different kind of busyness. But the right kind. Enough to restore their body and mind and soul. Jin had gotten down to 120 lbs. He now weighs a healthy 147. He finally looks good and muscular. Their hard work did pay off. They are all multi Millionaires. They all own many shares of stock in the company. Many famous companies are picking them to endorse their products. So more money coming in. They Never have to work again. But they ALL have vowed to come back after military service and continue on working non stop to be BTS again!

They weren’t not «allowed» to go home during christmas and different celeboratory occasions, they were working and their jobs are very demanding and they get that and are willing to do the work. It’s sad that they missed so many big occasions with their families, but they are grown adults who have a say in their schedueles and work especially in the more recent years. It’s not like they were being forced to do these things. And they do spend time with family on their birthdays, they just don’t talk about it cause they are really private and it’s none of our business. Also they’re grown men, not all of them want to make a big deal out of their birthdays and celebrate. I’m sure if they were really serious about it they would tell each other and do something together. Like Jimin and Suga don’t really like celebrating their birthdays and that is fine. Jin saying he has no friends is obviously a joke, he has said that several times. And of course family and friends would have congratulated him. How do you know they didn’t? He said that because he thought the members might congratulate him as soon as the clock turned 00.00. But they didn’t and that’s why he said those things. I’m sure they all congratulated him as the day went on. And they come on vlive for us fans, because they know it makes us happy. You make is sound like their kids being forced into things they don’t want. I’m sure there has been times when they would have rather not work, but haven’t we all. Just cause their jobs seems extraordinary doesn’t mean they can’t have days were they just wanna stay at home and do nothing. Also they absolutely can date, just not openly. I’m 100% sure all of them have dated at some point and might be in relationships right now even. Their obviously not gonna come online and tell everyone about it, as it’s their private life and we have no business knowing that stuff. We follow them for their music and amazing, fun personalities and their great talent. That’s it. Don’t assume things and say stuff you have no idea about. Also covid affected everyone in different ways and they were upset because concerts were being cancelled left and right and they couldn’t perform and see army, of course that’s gonna effect them negatively.

I know they had a long break just before they did Bon Voyage 4 but even then they Vlogged some of their activities. They also had a break after the PTD concerts in LA. Some of the guys went back to Korea, but some of them stayed in America. Jhope and Tae actually went back to Hawaii with their family during that time.

Lol quite the fanfic you concocted there. Maybe dont see bts members as helpless victims? What the fans see is NOT the totality of their lifes, its just a small part of it they CHOSE themselves to put online and show us armys. Bts are grown adults who have been doing this job for over a decade, give them the credit they deserve! They know what they're doing and their boundaries. They've even spoken openly how they feel about their personas and their jobs on multiple different times in their lifes and even when they seem to or admit to be struggling they are always careful to emphasize how grateful and happy they are to be doing what they're doing in the positions they're in and i find it a little bit disrespectful that you as a fan would disregard their own words like that. Also any conflict members might have had with each other over time is between them even if they themself brought it up (which they only do when its already resolved) so why would you bring that up just to build on your narrative that bts are unhappy and have no control over their lifes?

I love the way the managers of Hybe use friendly competition for beds, spending money, etc. As a mom of three boys(and our house was the hangout) I know how competitive and full of testosterone guys that age are. They make natural competitiveness fun. I love that Big Hit gives them comfortable accommodations but no limos, or 5⭐ hotels, room service etc. The boys budget, grocery shop, and cook meals together , creating a beautiful bonding experience. Also I know BTS would be humble anyway cuz that is who they are. But I feel Bang PD has a good understanding of them and does his part to guide them and keep them humble. Their sincerity and humbleness is what I love 💜 most about BTS.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

whew ... so many assumptions in your comment and so many situations put out of context!!! How can any of us know if they have female friends or not? How can we know if they've ever dated? We always find out later on about instances where the members celebrated birthdays or other events with their families and/or each other. They don't share every single moment of their lives with us and they shouldn't have to, but the bits that they do share (just because they are only BTS and/or Army related) do not give us the right to assume that they don't have any kind of life outside of BTS.

Oh Summer described a traditional Lithuanian dish called ''balandeliai'' which as she said is grounded meat wrapped in cabbage and you can have it with other boiled vegetables. I never thought anyone would know it outside of Eastern Europe! Highly recommend!!!

I always viewed Bon Voyage as a sort of job vacation thing for them since they get to explore and learn but still have to create content to share with us. I'd say their other show ''In the Soop'' is the one that's more vacation like because even though they're being filmed they have more freedom to do what they want and chill.

you really do seem to love to create your own narrative and believe your assumptions are true. they have shared with us countless of times stories of their vacations when they did not film, stories that have nothing to do with their work as bts, and also they have said they are comfortable enough with cameras. But most importantly what they share with us IS NOT EVERYTHING, they have a life outside of bts, they have other friends apart from the bts members that they have mentioned and probably they have many more that they have not, stop seeing them as this helpless creatures, they have said they are the ones who push themselves mostly, start viewing them as humans and not as characters to fulfill the weird narrative you have created in your head.

Actually BTS members never spent the holidays with their families before 2021 when they took a month off. They said they go home once a year, usually in January, other than that, their families travel to spend some time with them.

I think season 3 and 4 are more vacation like. They still have activities they do, and a budget on some but it's not as strict and they get to choose what they want as time goes on. I think they made these first 2 season the way they did to make it funny and more content. I can't wait till season 3 and 4. Those are my favorite seasons of Bonvoyage. In the Soop too. Those are really laid back. They literally just chill and relax, which is awesome to see. 💜 Love you guys! I always love y'alls reactions and I can't wait to see more! 💜

Wait, I can't help but comment here. Question. Are you an ARMY? With all the negative things you are saying here, I don't think so. BTS had a dream and continues to have one, this time longevity. For themselves and for ARMY. They have sacrificed a lot because 1, they love what they do; and 2, they love ARMY. For us who have been here for a long time now (some ARMYs will be celebrating their 10 years too!) and even those who joined in later or recently support them wholeheartedly because we see that they truly love their art and are genuine and amazing people too. If what you are saying is true that it was really bad for them, i dont think BTS will be the BTS that we know now. They would have quit years ago. But they persisted and thus, ARMY.

In the soop is such a blissful and heartwarming experience bc for me… it’s where they got to relax, sleep in if they want and just hangout and enjoy whatever they wanted to do individually or together… and of course eat together… but it’s one of the only real kinda vacations that we get to see.

The guys are very private about their personal time but sometimes they share some stuff with us about vacations, such as telling us they do have traveled together with no cameras many times, even visiting each other family´s houses. Oficially they got 3 long time breaks since 2018 if I´m not mistaken, this last one being the longest one (for obvious reasons)

The members do go on vacation where it’s just them doing whatever they want the best example for it, it’s bts in the soop which translates to bts in the forest. I totally recommend it it’s one of my favorite shows from them and it just shows the members in their healing time.
