...you know what? I just realized I'm re-watching ATLA with you, guys... in English. Which is not my mother tongue and when I was younger I've watched it first with dubbing. I've only just realized the words and voices are not the same as before lmao. I'm so slow. But at the same time I'm glad, it means my English proficiency has improved so much I don't even realize it's not in my native language anymore lol

I'm someone who was born in Europe and is used to old buildings, the history surrounding us on daily basis, many traditions surviving by going down in communities. I was learned its worth and to respect it a lot. So I really hate how they've changed the hundreds-years-old (or maybe even a thousand-years-old) Air Temple, all its statues, fresques and other monuments for this industrial mini-city and comfort of humans. But Aang's words were right - they just didn't have a choice as refugees being threatened by Fire Nation's army and changed what they've found into a space liveable for them. But also, again, being raised in Europe I know it IS possible to introduce innovations and development while keeping historical heritage untouched (or at least not destroyed). So I'm still angry at them. What are your thoughts?

We have been loving Seth’s appearances on this but we miss Gabriel on Fridays with the cousins. Hopefully we have the 3 of you guys to react to ATLA on a regular basis. 😊 Great reaction as always!
